United Ag and Turf is located in the town we live in. My husband called to set up a mobile service for service on his skid steer and informed the lady on the phone that he will go to the business and settle his bill once completed. The lady wanted his credit card number even though he would settle up with a ranch check. Once service was complete, my husband called the same number to confirm his bill would be ready. He was told what his bill total was and was concerned. The parts and service was not a problem. We live 3 miles from this business and was charged a whopping $150.00. When he questioned it, she told him if he lived 31 miles it would be $375.00, well we don't. And she reminded him that it was actually 6 miles, to and from. My husband even took a part the tech needed to exchange back in his own vehicle and no credit for that and was still charged a whopping $150.00. This information could have been disclosed when setting up the appointment instead of afterward with a "oh, by the way". The technician that serviced my husbands skid steer did a great job, very courteous and helpful. My husband went to the business to pay his bill and the gentleman that was in the service area was very disrespectful and rude to him telling my husband that he cannot do his bill and that he cannot pay his bill, evidently the correct person to print the bill was out so my husband was not able to pay it. There was another gentleman in the area who asked if he could help my husband, when my husband explained to him what the issue was, to pay his bill, come to find out he couldn't help him either, he didn't have access to this either. So the gentleman asked for the number my husband called and he called and had the lady email it to him so my husband could pay his bill. Employees need training to learn to be friendly and courteous to their customers. I would have been reprimanded for my behavior if this was me. I would not treat prospective or my customers in this fashion. Not everyone is as nice when it comes to high mileage charges as my husband. They would raise cane. Again the technician was great and the gentleman who did help him was great.

We have a 3039R (front loader/forks, backhoe) that we purchased along with a zero turn mower from the former owner company Padula. As with any equipment (espec farm equipment), Murphy's Law happens here and there... but that's what customer service is there for. Along the way, there were minor problems that Padula's mostly took care of. More recently there was a major problem with the structure of the tractor and it took several months, but UAT in the end made good with the bumper-to-bumper warranty. Once the service manager got hold of our issue, it sped to resolution. We are considering upgrading our tractor since we underestimated its usefulness, and we want more power!
