Fuyez !
Fuyez ! Fuyez ! Fuyez !
Response from united-rent-a-car.comSep 2, 2026
Dear Customer, We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify a few points in order to ensure that the facts are accurately presented. Our company applies the rental conditions communicated at the time of booking, particularly those relating to the payment method required for the security deposit. The fact that a card is labelled “Credit” does not necessarily mean that it meets all the requirements for the security deposit pre-authorisation. The card must also be issued in the name of the main driver and comply with the conditions specified in the rental agreement. The additional insurance is not imposed arbitrarily. It may be offered when the payment method presented does not meet the requirements for the security deposit. This is an optional solution that allows the customer to proceed with the rental under alternative coverage conditions. We sincerely regret any inconvenience caused by this situation. Nevertheless, we would like to emphasize that our agency’s intention is never to place customers in a difficult situation, but rather to apply the agreed rental conditions consistently and transparently. We remain available to review any individual case upon receipt of the booking reference and the relevant supporting documents. Kind regards, Customer Care Department
