The Kanega Watch is a great product and it's made in the USA! The customer service from UnaliWear is fantastic and they've been very patient with my difficult parent. It's perfect for folks who need something with with fall detection, but don't want a pendant.

The Kanega Watch has been a lifesaver for my grandma (and mom!). My grandma lives independently and is able to continue to do so because the Kanega provides round the clock coverage in the case of an emergency. And even better, my mom can rest easy, knowing she's safe. We chose the Kanega because the 24/7 monitoring service already knows who she is when an alert comes from the watch. After doing so much research online, we found that the Kanega's coverage and service was far superior to others on the market. Totally worth the price!

Hi Jake, I fell in the garage and couldn’t get up. The Kanega watch signaled me to indicate it had detected a fall, and then called the call center (I didn’t have my cell phone). The call center was slow to answer, but it eventually contacted me and sent the fire department. Without the watch, I don’t know what I would have done. I was stranded but the Kanega watch saved the day!! You have created an amazing watch! THANK YOU!! Perry

The Kanega Watch is a game-changer when it comes to safeguarding your loved ones during critical moments. In emergencies when every second counts, its live agent response system offers the perfect blend of human empathy and quick action. Unlike anything else on the market, this watch is not just reliable—it's life-saving. No other product, not even from Apple or Samsung, comes close to delivering the peace of mind that Kanega provides.

Unaliwear watch is not made for elderly people with dementia. Watch is too complicated for my mother to take batteries out and she broke them more than once. Every new battery is $50.00. We were told we purchased the watch for $149.00 plus a 50.00 set up fee in Aug 2023. After cancelling her watch and finding a new service for my mother. We were told we had to return the watch. Unaliwear then charged us $60.00 for the return of the watch. Beware of poor customer service. Plus watch will alert a fall all the time even if just sitting at the table!!

We are really sorry for this wearer's experience. We have many wearers with various levels of dementia who find the Kanega Watch to be the best solution for their needs. Not needing to remove the watch to charge, ever, allows for consistency of wearing that can really benefit all wearers and specifically those with dementia. In addition, we are also able to customize the watch settings remotely to meet the specific needs of each wearer. For example, for many wearers with dementia, we turn off the voice activation feature on the watch - critical for those who are unlikely to remember the watch's "wake word" for voice activation (the wearer's experience with the watch alerting while sitting on a table was most likely due to voice activation). Replacement batteries due to breakage do cost $36.95 + $12.50 S/H (though we replace the first broken battery for free, as a courtesy). Batteries that simply start to lose their rechargeability, usually after approx. 2 years, are replaced for just the $12.50 S/H charge. Prior to May of 2024, the watch was not sold. The buyer did not own the watch but paid a set-up fee and was required to return the equipment in working order when cancelling the service. The buyer returned the equipment and pieces were broken, requiring the charge experienced. The wearer wore her Kanega Watch regularly for nearly a year prior to canceling service and returning. We hope she and her family find an alternative that offers the 24/7 peace of mind that we seek to provide all our wearers.

- After looking for over a year for an alert watch for my wife, a friend told me about the Kanega. It has every feature most people could want in addition to an innovative and unique battery system. I was so impressed with it that I even bought one for myself so I could try it out. I was not planning to test the fall protection feature but, due to a bump in the sidewalk, I verified that it works very well. I supplied the answers to several questions to UnaliWear, which they put into the watch and it worked straight out of the box. It required no computer skills. It has more futures than I could easily list here so I recommend the UnaliWear web site. It was very evident that the inventor developed it for a loved one. - Henry R. Streiffer

I was charged for a defective watch when it was returned in working condition. I removed the batteries, packed it in a METAL watch box with foam packing, and packed it in shipping peanuts. In addition, the watch never worked for me. It went off constantly with false alarms and never once when I actually fell.

I'm a health insurance agent who specializes in Medicare. I've done a lot of research on these types of devices & decided on this watch for my loved ones. We love that this watch is easy to use-right out of the box with very little set up. It's water resistant & can be worn in the shower, so you never have to take it off. It's discreet, looks just like a regular watch. We've had great experiences with customer service & the test calls we have done. The representatives of the company have gone above & beyond to help & answer all our questions. Very happy with this product & so glad it exists!
