Great Customer Service
Any time I have an issue, whether it's as simple as logging in, I receive assistance. I always receive a confirmation email.

Haven't been able to open it
Have been waiting a week to receive a hard copy and once it got here and uploaded it unto my computer have been unable to use it, needs an EFIN which takes forever to get from the IRS. Also when I paid the system did not catch a double payment. It went out half way through the first input or did not give a handshake. May go out tonight to purchase Turbo tax to calculate my own taxes.

Yes you do have to have an EFIN. We have provided you a temporary EFIN, but it will not allow you to e-file. The charge that was doubled up was taken care of and refunded to you in a prompt manor. This is a professional tax program so that you can prepare taxes. We are happy to help.

I will give 5 stars rating to Ultimate Tax. Their online help (live chat) on their website is excellent, fast and professional. The price is reasonable. I will recommend Ultimate Tax to everybody.

Confusion of Tax Software
The Ultimate Tax software is labeled in the programming as Tax Wise. Links to the program are broken and areas are non functional. I am a little confused as after my purchase I called tech support only to find that the software is not finished. Tried to start a return for a client but the software failed.

Curt, We do purchase form TaxWise as our vendor. However we take responsibility for the program once we put our name on it. TaxWise does the calculation and filing. We take care of the program and support. The areas that are non functional and broken links, I would like to get further details. To say the program is not finished is not a correct statement. There are always updates that come out to the program. However, we are already filing returns with the current software. I will reach out to you via email.

Delay in receiving software
Laura Price has been very helpful when setting up the order - however, I ordered it on January 3rd, today is January 16th. I still have not received an email with the link. I called in today, and coincidentally my email with my link information is being sent to me today. Apparently the email notifications to let me know my software is available was never sent out. This is my first year working with Ultimate Tax (had previously been with Lacerte for 2 years) so I'm hoping this isn't a sign of what it will be like working with Ultimate Tax.
