Things really need to improve in many departments but they refuse to change anything or make it better. When they update the app it just makes it worse. They often send delicate makeup items and pallets in envelopes. They refuse to change this. So I keep repeatedly getting damaged items and having to reach out and deal with customer service in order to get it fixed. It's such a hassle and then you have to wait for them to send it again and half the time they send it in the envelope Again and it arrives broken a second time. Another annoying feature is that they launch things on Sunday but they won't launch their coupons until hours and hours later after you've made a purchase on Sunday. So you can't use the coupon in the items you go in to buy. They do this on purpose so that you end up having to pay full price because they can't cancel or change your order in any way. I take that back they could cancel or change your order but they just refuse to. They'd rather pocket your money and anchor a customer then help them. It's clear that money comes first when it comes to Ulta Beauty and customers do not. It is nice that when I reach out I am able to get issues resolved I just wish that the resolutions were better and that you wouldn't have to keep repeatedly complaining about the same issues because they're not doing anything to improve them.

For the past day I’ve been trying dearly to redeem my free birthday reward. Not only did they leave out the fact that the gift is supposed to be the travel size, but the product is not even on the website. After calling customer service she sent me an invalid code (after saying she can give me the October code instead). The chat feature is the worst and is robot-controlled, and the Ulta Text doesn’t even reply. I thought I loved Ulta but I’m so sick of this.

This is the worst costumer service. The store off of Haun road in Menifee California. I thought this hair spritzer was a tester the way it was displayed. So I tried it . The girl came at me like I was a child . Super rude to me like if I had done it on purpose. Even after I explained how I thought it was a tester . Then I walked away and was shopping. I hear her say there she is pointing at me to her manager. Then I have a manager tell me how they would have to damage out the product. I told her what is wrong with you .I was going to buy this . The abuse in this store and feeling of being attracted. When all I was trying to do is shop . I will never return to that shop ever !!

Just had a buy online, pick up in store order and it was a horrible experience. Got my product, opened it and saw someone had stuck a finger in it. Immediately took it back in and the person "helping" me said she could not exchange it for the exact same item, with the exact same barcode. I couldn't even just return it. I now have to make another trip out here, what a waste of time and how ridiculous! She was also entirely annoyed and rude. I doubt anyone would seriously use a product someone had stuck their hands in.

I've had enough of Ulta. They never read my emails and constantly reply with worthless information, which serves as a clear indication that they didn't even bother to read what I said in my email. Ulta won't be getting any more of my business. Even after contacting them four times, I still haven't received my refund... it has been two months since they received my returned item. Even though they acknowledged receiving it at the warehouse, they still told me to wait for my refund. What a joke.

I know companies are looking to get your email/phone number for rewards. These are really just to send you marketing. If you choose to Not provide this that is your right. On 3 occasions, different locations, I decline and instantly the cashiers attitude changes, and not for the better. Needless to say will NEVER return. My choice to not provide my personal info, while paying money for purchase should not result in a negative interaction.

Honestly this is solely about the online support at Ulta. It’s so terrible. I explained multiple times that my account got hacked and for them to please cancel my order immediately (since it was not placed by me). I had to talk to 5 different people about this stupid issue and repeat myself 100 times. Not to mention I had to keep contacting different people. Very unprofessional. I get the reason why everyone likes Sephora better

I had a terrible return experience with Ulta Beauty at King of Prussia, PA. I would give them zero star if that's an option. I made a return only 30 days which is way before their 60 days return policy and they only gave me store credit and not being able to explain why they could not credit me back via my visa card. I contacted my visa card service and confirmed there is no issue with my card. After communicating back and forth with customer service and the store, nobody could explain to me what the issue was and until this day (8 days after the return date), they still haven't resolved it. The reason I want credit back to my card and will not accept their store credit because they price is way too high, each item is at least $5 to $15 comparing to other sellers. I would not recommend anyone to shop at Ulta. YOu can get the same products for much lesser price at other stores.
