I am not surprised to see that Ulta has bad reviews. They rip you off any chance they get. Most recently, which is not the first issue I have had my order has not been here after 10 days and they did not even catch it. I had to look it up and figure out what happened and for some reason it says being shipped back to sender. I had applied points and had an $80 free gift as well which was on special at the time of the order and no longer on special. They offered to give me a $15 credit but it is their policy if they do not reship the free gifts. So possibly they said my order was lost so they didn’t have to give out an $80 gift for nose because it was no fault of my own at all and they weren’t even willing to allow me to escalate it. I told them I would go to Sephora instead and the representative just said OK I’ll give you a refund and had no problem with it.

They have terrible customer service, the ulta in seminole mall is the worst one by far!

I recently visited the Ultra store in Sherman, TX. It was before 1:00 pm. I had a list of several items I needed. One was not available, so I spent a great deal of time looking for a substitute. No one ever asked if I needed assistance. There were a couple of employees in the front of the store just chatting with each other and one behind the counter. There were at least four customers in the store all trying to help themselves. It would have been nice if someone would have just asked if I needed help. I made a large purchase, but left there seeking another makeup store.

I just visited the Ulta location in Atlas Park, Glendale location and there was no help to be found. I kept asking random girls that apparently didnt work for Ulta but the makeup lines that are represented there (then why they work at Ulta locatiom? Lol) and they were full of attitudes. They all act lile dermatologist God forbid if u say sth against sth...they will look at you weird. Terrible environment! No wonder they are not Number 1. 😜

Kept canceling my order and kept the money on one of the occasions, never let me know at any point what was happening. I have never seen a business less interested in selling!! This has literally been the last drop; I'm never giving my money to a business so ready to stop operations.

2 items were left out of my order. The box was damaged, items were damaged, and an old gross used lotion was put in as well. I get on the chat with Marisol and she's zero help. Says one of the items can be reshipped but not the other as it's out of stock. I ask why I was not made aware before the shipment shipped. She has no answer. She tells me I can get a "free reship code" when the item comes back into stock. SO helpful. I ask isn't there anything else better they can do to make it up to me? All I get is a refund for both items. Pathetic and terrible customer service. Dissatisfied customer here.

I have to say this was the worst experience I have had in a store in a very long time. First when you walk in the store the registers are to the left and behind the wall is the pick up desk. So after spending 15 minutes in the line for the register ..where it took both cashiers that amount of time to figure out the young ladies discount...I was told your in the wrong line I needed to go to pick up..behind the wall ..after looking I found it…I gave the employee my phone with the bar to click .they then needed to see my license which had my maiden name ..so then I had to show them my bank card ..I finally got my bag ..figured I would look around ..the store was dirty .there were eyeshadow smears and pieces on the shelves, testers were gross, and I went to look at an all over concealer tester and it was all the way to the bottom with pieces on the bottom of the tester..disgusting..I then looked in my bag and realized I only had 1 out 2 items! So I went to the employee standing staring straight ahead, no eye contact and the response was we don’t carry that anymore …Seriously ! How about sorry we no longer carry this product but we could show you a similar one by another good brand ..and no mention on my email of not having the other product ..I think I am going to shop at Sephora or Macy’s ..I felt the customer service was awful ..were they even trained ??! I managed a staff of 20 for 18 years and Customer Service was huge!! The store needs a good cleaning and testers should be checked and refilled along with cleaning the shelves .sad this store is at the new Tuscany Village in Salem, NH ..which could really generate a lot of money but not if there is not good management ..and the store needs to be clean!

I got a used item shipping to me so I have call Ulta.con customer service to re-ship thh new item to me. However, the customer service entered the wrong item to re-ship to me. So, I asked him if we can cancel the wrong reshipped item. He said no. I told him that I don’t have time to ship the item back to Ulta & that was the purpose I purchased my order online instead of going to the store. He simply refused my request & talking to his supervisor. He started to blame me. So, we started to argue & he lied again to blame customers. It appears to me Ulta Beauty has a very lousy customer service team & I totally don’t recommend this business unless a customer enjoying lousy services. I can see Ulta Beauty future will fail if this company keeps its lousy customer service team.
