This is highly disappointing. And Iam sure that I won’t buy from Ulta again ever!! 285 dollars is not simple to ignore!! When I as a customer buying expensive things from your store I would expect some minimum care from your delivery policies!! It’s not something I left it for days outside and then I realized that the box is open before and item is missing. My roommate opened the door and taken the box from floor (door step ) within an hour of delivery!! Seriously!!! Clearly the “better trucks” delivery person stole medicube pro booster x2 , becoz only my apartment is there on first floor and nobody can even see that there is an item delivered at the doorstep and nobody can come to upstairs with a knife to open a box and steal the item with in an hour!! If someone is to steal — they just steal the whole box ! I am 99% sure that the delivery person has stolen 285 dollars worth item!! And ulta does not do anything , or investigate their delivery partners about this!! Which is so ridiculous and unfair and unacceptable Lesson learned never buy from Ulta -- they don't care about customers or their experiences!! And highly unreliable and disgusting delivery partners ! Overall completely unreliable store!!

If I could put zero stars for Ulta Customer Service I would they are terrible with people, do not want to help you or follow up with you the return process is a nightmare even if you receive a damaged item nothing to do with Sephora and the customer service don’t give a crap about you they just want your money scammers

Very disappointed in Ulta salon. Asked for peekaboo highlights, as light and cool as possible. Got medium orange highlights. Stylist was Ashley at the Grove Ulta in Wesley Chapel, Fl.

I made the mistake of returning to Ulta as a customer after having a few nightmarish experiences with delivery of my orders. Never again. This time, I had two packages left on the street in front of my building in NYC by another fly-by-night courier service that Ulta has started using called Better Trucks. They never rang my doorbell or attempted to gain access to a secure location in my building as I was home at the time of delivery. Since you can't sign up for notifications on their website, it wasn't until Ulta finally sent the emails saying my packages were delivered that I saw the photo of the two packages outside on the street. I'm not sure what the requirements are for hiring couriers at Better Trucks but the bar is clearly low. After several calls and getting the runaround from Ulta for a week, a supervisor told me that due to their new rules, they are not responsible for any orders that they deem to be "successfully delivered". Yes, I did contact Better Trucks and they said they attempted to recover the "lost" packages but could not and that I should take it up with Ulta. Again, Ulta persisted and said I was responsible for the over $200 lost. Hoping for a better result with my credit card company but I must warn all prospective customers against shopping with Ulta as they take zero responsibility for lost packages and in 2026 still do not have a free return policy!? I'm definitely finished shopping here.

I was extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Ulta. I went in specifically because I needed help selecting makeup that would work well for me, and I expected the associates at a specialty beauty store to have enough product knowledge to guide me. I spent nearly **two hours in the store** and ultimately left without purchasing anything. The associate helping me was very nice, but instead of asking the right questions and making knowledgeable recommendations, she repeatedly brought me different products to try without being able to explain why they were appropriate for my skin, what results I should expect, or how the products compared. I also asked other associates for assistance, but they seemed to know where products were located rather than being able to provide meaningful advice about how they worked or which products might be best for me. I don't expect every employee to be a professional makeup artist, but when a customer comes to Ulta specifically for help choosing makeup, there should be at least one knowledgeable beauty associate available who understands complexion products, skin types, shades, finishes, and application. After spending two hours trying to get that kind of help and leaving empty-handed, I was incredibly frustrated. I could have ordered random products online myself. I went to Ulta because I wanted **expertise and personalized assistance**, and unfortunately that is exactly what I didn't receive.

I recently purchased a product for my wife in store and when she opened the box the jar inside has a tester label on it and had been used. Someone had swapped it. I tried speaking to Ulta's web chat but they refused to help and told me I'd have to make the 30 minute drive back to the store to make an exchange.

Ulta Beauty located at 14929 Florence Trail, Apple Valle, MN has lost a customer. I had purchased items from them over the years, & was always unimpressed by the store's service reps who always had a lack of knowledge on their product lines, poor customer service & overall business sense. However, if I knew exactly what I was buying, I'd stop in & make a quick purchase, since I needed no help from them. Last year I had to change my entire make up line- I had used Bobbi Brown's for 15-20 years, however they started introducing over-powering perfumes into their makeup & abandoned their fragrance-free option. So they lost a devoted customer. I have olive skin & it is hard to find a good match - especially one that is water based with no fragrance. So I made an appointment with a beautician at Ulta, & she ran through about 6 brands, but we found some colors in Clarins that seemed to do a fair job. Replacing the entire product line was pricey. I spent serious money. And they could have had a loyal customer moving forward, who would drop some good money their way. However - this year I needed to buy replacement bottles as the others were getting low - but I didn't use them right away. (It's hard to know exactly when your makeup runs out). I went to use them today- still n the box... however the bottle were package poorly with the pumps thrust so tight into the bottle's topper that they could not be separated. The make up is useless without a pump. I called the store expecting to be able to make an exchange to get new bottles that were NOT malfunctioning. ULTA refused. The service rep (who sounded about 10 & probably had an equal IQ) said if 30 days expired since the purchase - no matter what the reason - even if they sold a product that had issues- they would not honor the sale & give me a replacement. Unbelievable. They will never see another purchase from me. I likely will give up purchasing the Clarins make up line - their packaging was clumsy anyway - but then to have it malfunction & not be able to use it - I am unimpressed. And their make up truly was no match to Bobbi Browns. It felt heavier, didn't have the deeper tones, etc. I see ULTA's overall rating is pretty poor - so I am sure my poor experience is one of many.
