As a platinum member, I've been soo disappointed with ulta customer service. Many times my coupons do not work even if I hadn't used them. I call and speak with people who are difficult to understand and who are never ever able to help me get my coupon to work. I've decided that I'm leaving ulta and have since earned Rouge status at sephora. I'm switching to sephora all because of the unhelpful online customer service

I viewed the website. There was a sale on Designer Essential products that indicated a free gift with purchasing the item. All of the products indicated free gift. When placing the item there was no option to select from. Phoned guest services, spoke with a representative informed her of my problem. She stated that the order didn’t process and I would receive a refund in 2-3 days. She requested that I place another order. I place another order while on the line with the representative. That order didn’t didn’t process. She gave me a coupon $15.00 off a $50 purchase. I reordered the items and used the code given. I received an error message -invalid or expired coupon. I called back, informed the representative of the problem with the code and the free gift. He apologized and stated, there was an error in the system. He was informed that he should honor the advertisement. I asked to speak with a supervisor. He placed me on hold for over 30 minutes. I hung up and called back. Informed Jennel of my problem and requested again to speak a supervisor. She informed me that it would take 24-48 hours before someone would call me. Phone again and spoke with Susan, informed of my problem and the results.She stated she would give me coupon. She was asked were there stipulations with the coupon. She was unable to answer the question, but she would email me a coupon. This is false advertisement. I’m really feeling sad about my problem. I visited a store, earlier today and purchased some items. I’ll return those items on tomorrow. I don’t want to give my business to a company that doesn’t HONOR their ads.

Horrific customer service. I placed an online order. And to this day 2 months later it still says awaiting g carrier pickup in the app. I placed my order on 9/15 and they delivered it 9/16. I was told between 9/20-23. I would be home or someone would be home one of those days. But the weekend it was delivered I was gone all weekend hosting my nieces baby shower. They say it was delivered but I never got it. It sat outside all day maybe all night who Knows I don't have cameras. Nonetheless the package value was high enough they should've required signature but to leave a $500 box of items on porch without someone being home is ridiculous. And telling me they will not reship or refund is just beyond aggravating. I had always been happy with Ulta to this point. But now I will not be giving them my business!! Instead today I went to Sephora and spent $500. Could've been your money Ulta but your horrible customer service makes me feel like I don't matter. You should hold yourselves accountable for your actions as well. If you have told me it was delivered I would've had my neighbor grab the box. But your site doesn't work correctly so it's my fault? Just because you have a picture showing it was delivered from Ontrac doesn't mean I received it. That doesnt mean it stayed there. Obviously someone must've taken it. You should have made it right. You should have reshipped. Not like I've had issues in the past. Always happy u til now!! Now its left to the hands of the credit card company. If they don't make it right cancelling the card will happen immediately. Won't have a store or credit card treat me like I don't matter!! SHAME ON YOU ULTA AND ONTRAC! SHAME ON YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!!

account was compromised and provided a new credit card, since then i have dealt with NOTHING but issues with Ulta cancelling my online purchases with no reasons given. i’ve called customer service numerous times to no avail, no one can seem to help and i am told 2 different stories. will be destroying this card and going to sephora, i am extremely disgusted with this company and it’s lack of accountability!

I had an appointment for a 'brow tweezing' treatment. The girl did not try to make me feel comfortable. In fact, I don't think she even looked me in the eye. She was very cold, unfriendly. I told her that I always wanted a brow arch but was unsuccessful to create one. She barely tweezed any hairs. My brows looked exactly the same after she was done. The only thing she did was use a 'Benefit' brow product for color. I was very disappointed with this service. This person needs lessons in customer service; hers was appalling.

The cashier lady at Ulta that checked my sister and I out was so absolutely disrespectful. She questioned whether my caucasian sister and I, me being half caucasian and african american were sisters, after I told her we were sisters in a friendly conversation while we were checking out. I am usually not sensitive to comments like this as I have been raised around mostly white peiple but this particular comment bothered me a lot. Making my 10 year old sister feel uncomfortable when someone questions us being related is not something I take lightly and is not okay. In this time in age there is no right for people to comment rudely about people being related by what they look like and quite frankly none of their business. I have had no issues with Ulta before this, but I will not support this business any longer because of the disrespect and rudeness I experienced today.

Purchased online during sale shampoo and conditioner. Also purchased leave in treatment for hair on 10/21. On shipping says still waiting for items on Ontrac website from merchant to call merchant. Spoke to a very difficult to understand customer service rep said to call back after 11/2. I doubt I will get my purchase and they will refund what was charged to card. I doubt that they will get me the items at the sale price. This is the 3rd time this has happened this year. I’m done with Ulta been a customer for almost 20 years

Service is awful. Both locations in Indio and La Quinta. The staff is snotty. The stores are filthy.
