I went on black Friday with my mate. First I showed my mate where he can get his skin care while I shop for a little makeup. They follow my mate around to the point he just came back to stand next to me, now they started following both of us around. I didn't care we are used to people around the section of town doing that to people that don't look like them. I just wanted to get a few things and leave. Now we went to check out. Guess what, the employee stated that their system was down, while I was looking at another staff checking someone out, the employee stated that they would call me back, guess what never got a call. But we knew they wouldn't by the way they were acting. I went to Sephora which I spent more money, but we didn't mine do to the fact we were treated with respect. They sold a facial scrub brush to me where the battery compartment would not close all the way and thus risks electrocution!! Then when I attempted to get a refund, apparently you can only get a refund via Chat, email, or phone call. What company in their right mind operates this way today? I mean what do they think this is the 90s? I opted for the chat option because it was nighttime and I didn’t think the phone people would be operating. The person on the other end of the chat made the return process as painful as humanly possible trying to stop my refund with every excuse he could think of. I told him exactly what I’m telling you: I will NEVER do business with this company again!!!!!

I went into my local Ulta and purchased a Nioxn produce that was on sale on October 7, 2023. I was still using another product I had so I didn't open it right away. When I tried to use it the other day, I noticed it had expired in Sept 2023! So they sell expired merchandise!! I went to the store to return it and get a full refund and since I was 2 days over the 60 day return, they would only give me store credit. I spoke to the manager and she said they coudn't do anything else for me. This morning I called Corporate and got the same runaround. When I asked to speak to the representative, "Menard" the phone went silent and he never came back. I called back and got Menard again, he said I had to take it up with the store, which I told him I had tried. I asked to speak to his supervisor or the name of the head of customer service for Ulta and he did the same thing, dead silence and he never came back. He suggested I look at expiration dates of products before I buy them, which is this expected of every person who buys retail? The only time I look at expiration dates is with food and medicine. This is super bad customer service and I will take my business elsewhere now, and I will never buy a gift card for anyone from this company again.

I bought two gift cards on Nov 27, and got two reward cards. Later I found out the reward cards has "0" balance. I called ULTA customer service on Dec 3, they said they will send me new reward cards in 48 hrs. Never got the reward card, so called again on Dec 6, I was told it is pending and need to wait for 48 hrs. I asked to talk to the supervisor, the service rep. said no supervisor was available, I can leave my number and they will contact me in 48 hrs. What a joke to deal with unhelpful customer service, who doesn't solve any issue, but wasting my time.

This isn’t something I typically like to do but I’m absolutely furious. I purchased Prada perfume as a Christmas gift for someone, it came with a 2 free gift so I was excited. I received my order 5 days ago and when I opened my box there was no perfume. I looked at shipping and it said it should be included so I called customer service. I was told my claim would be escalated to the warehouse to check weight. Next day, I received an email saying it was shipped out as the proper weight and there would be no replacement or refund. I then called customer service again and was told it would be “escalated” to the managers/specific department and should hear back in 24 hours. I called 2 more days in a row and was told the same thing AGAIN. I asked to speak to a supervisor, but of course none were available. I was told I would get a call back but of course I didn’t. This is beyond ridiculous I paid for a product and didn’t receive it. I’ve emailed, messaged on fb, and called with them promising me they will make it right. DO NOT order perfume from Ulta, I have learned my lesson. I hope they realize that they have lost a customer and I will never buy, shop, promote them in any way ever again. Thank you for ruining a Christmas gift and treating a loyal customer as if they are insignificant. Ulta Beauty

Do yourself a favor and order online, it is cheaper and returns a swift and easy. Do not except anything in the way of “service” or “management”. All Ulta can do is check you out and take your money. It’s a truly crappy retail environment. Completely MIA customer satisfaction experience.

In the monrning's mail I received a coupon for 20% off and offer of free throw or robe. I immediately went to the Patriot Place store and all out of robes. Of course the offer signs are all around the store. Talk about baiting the consumer. The check out clerk was haughty, mumbling "as supplies last." So I walked out without any purchases. Also tried the Westwood MA store and no robes or throws there and got the same "as supplies last" comment. Conclusion, ignore the post card offer and shop elsewhere where supplies last more than two hours after receiving the mail.

Worst experience ever 1st time ordering from ulta and they said my package was delivered yesterday that I ordered a week ago and it was never delivered I am a stay at home mom I’m home 24/7 so if anything was delivered I would know and it’s been 2 days sense saying it was delivered and it’s still not here everytime I contact them they say they can’t help me or I have to wait 3 business days this is pathetic is literally Christmas time I don’t even have the money to just be losing I am so mad I literally want to cry
