I contacted ULTA about a delivery address update, I had one guest service person hang up on me, another made zero effort to help and told me no manager was available and then when the manager emailed me, they didn't respond. I paid more money to UPS.

I recently placed an online pick up order in which the item I ordered ended up being out of stock. They proceeded to charge my bank account the full amount of the order even though they didn’t have the product I ordered. When I called to resolve this, they said I’d get the refund within 3-5 business days. It just seems kinda messed up that they would charge me before even confirming if they had the item in stock or not. They were quick to take my money but in no rush at all to reimburse me for an order that wasn’t even fulfilled. I’ve never had this issue with placing online orders at any other business. Ulta needs to revise their system!

I would highly recommend you not using Ulta hair salon. Only because in my case it was a nightmare. I have dirty blonde hair I wanted high and low lights. What I walked out with was salt and pepper. They offered to fix. Dumb me goes back to walk out with navy blue hair!!! I called corporate as I put on my Ulta credit card. I had to send receipts, dates and time which I gladly did. All I wanted was a credit. They could not do as a courtesy. So I cancelled my credit card of 3 years, will not shop at any Ultra and never use their services. They do not stand behind their employees or product. All over few hundred dollars. I should have sought legal representation for all the distress and walking around with ugly navy blue hair, really! I told you Ulta I would be making a review. So here is your very unfavorable review. All I wanted low and high lights. Oh! Yes, they tag on other cost without your permission. I was never asked for a special treatment but charged $20.00 extra dollars. So special I don't even recall experiencing that special treatment. Maybe because I was in shock! Thank God I didn't request a hair cut, seriously. My hair was just above my waist so long. You ask what store Bluffton/Hilton Head South Carolina. The managers even had the audacity to say that's beautiful. I looked at her. And said maybe you should get (blank) navy hair then. It looks hideous!!!! Not even close to what I wanted. Never again. I'll make sure to tell everyone also. Just because Ulta Does Not Back Up The Service or Product. Karma They ask for experience. I threw everything away when you stayed after many letters, calls to say it was too long ago or nothing you could do. You look up my information. You figure it out. I tried working with you and you chose not to take me seriously. Shame on you!

Ordered online 6/9, tracking did not work properly and I never received package. No proof of package ever provided. I put in claim with UPS and Ulta, almost 30 days later they still have not refunded or replaced. I was forced to dispute with my credit card and STILL waiting for reply. I will never purchase from ulta again and hope this does not happen to others.

Horrible online customer service...just straight up rude! I will never shop here ever again!

I waited ten minutes for someone to actually come check me out. During this time I made eye contact with a girl at the front. She looked at me with annoyance and watched me stand there till she seemed to realize I wasn’t going to leave as I turned about to go seek someone to check me out. After finally leisurely making her way to the counter she proceeded to act as if it were the worst inconvenience ever going through the steps to check me out. She acted like I wasn’t worth her time and was EXTREMELY rude. Hands down the worst attitude I’ve ever witnessed from anyone in the service industry. Both to me, and all the other customers I witnessed interact with her. Multiple people came up to ask her questions regarding a sale going on and not one response was she curteous in. She straight up looked at one girl in annoyance and ignored her when she came up and turned her back to look at her phone. To be quite frank she was a b*tch, and not in the good way. She was borderline hostile. I did not feel welcome or comfortable in my experience in the store, and will not likely be coming back at least to this location. I didn’t see her name tag, but she was a dark blonde with highlights and her hair pulled up in a ponytail. She looked like might be in high school. I don’t think that excuses her behavior in any way though considering I have a sister about the age she looked and she’s handled situations with some pretty awful people coming at her in her work environment and still handled them more curteously and professionally than this girl with some of the sweetest looking and most polite people I saw her interact with- like the girl she straight up ignored.

I have an ulta account and have had it for nearly 2 years. I've never had a late pay or missed payment until most recent. May 2024 to be exact. That's when a hospital bill came due for payment and my portion had to be paid. Because of the amount of this bill I would have to make payment arrangements with ulta. I called and explained the situation and they said they understood but not really, I guess. Ulta is not the only creditor I have and I had to make arrangements with all of them. The other credit card companies were very good at servicing my need and made arrangements that were workable. Now I'm back on track without all my creditors, except ulta/comenity bank. I won't go through all the details but just know, they don't keep track of the payment arrangements you may make with them and they will call you all day every day to make arrangements and you'll just have to keep telling your reason over and over. They won't keep up. They'll just call you over and over. So much that you could get annoyed from repeating yourself. It's not so great to have a credit account with them. I'm going to shred the card, pay them off. But I'll be shopping elsewhere for my beauty needs. I want nothing else to do with them

I have been a customer for years. I put in an online order and about an hour later noticed I had made a mistake. I called customer service and basically, once you hit checkout, you’re screwed. They can’t even cancel an order that is less than an hour old. They won’t modify it either. Then on top of that, they never have any managers available to speak to customers that are having issues. I’m over having trouble with Ulta over and over. It’s always something. They just lost a great customer because I’m now going to shop at Sephora for my makeup and hair products. They never solve any problems the customer is having so I’m solving this customer’s problems for them. Goodbye Ulta!
