I rated Ulta 3 stars because
I rated Ulta 3 stars because, as much as I love their selection of products over their competitors, the store experience can be annoying. The staff are always very helpful, but often too helpful when you haven’t asked for assistance. I’m always being directed to the Stri-Vectin display when it’s completely unnecessary. This has happened a couple of times but this week really struck me. I was in there looking for products that wont irritate my skin because I am experiencing an allergic reaction to everything right now and needed a change, fast. A girl came over to the skin care section and asked what I was looking for, I mentioned my allergies and she somehow tried selling Stri-Vectin Vitamin C and Retinol to me which was located on the other side of the store. She took me over, and started talking about the products that had nothing to do with why I was there. I wanted to ask her if she heard anything I said. This may just be my Ulta store, but its so off putting when they put their sales first over someone who is having serious allergic reactions. Plus, I’m asked every five minutes if I need help, which is annoying. I just wish they would have some common sense in their sales tactics. It would benefit them since I spend more money in the store than I do online, so they shouldn’t run customers off. As for online orders, thats been okay but I never get a paper receipt in my box, nothing. If I have an issue with an online order the customer service is not good which is frustrating. They’ve been rude in the phone and haven’t called me back. 🤷🏼♀️
