Very disappointed with the Clearwater FL store. I made an appointment for a blowout since I was going to a Christmas party and couldn't get a convenient appointment at my usual place. I got a call about an hour before my scheduled appointment that the person in the chair before me was getting additional services and could I come in about 45 minutes later. At first I said ok but the more I thought about it the angrier I got. If I was 45 minutes late I would have either not been serviced or charged as a no show. I then called back to cancel- the response was ok- no I'm sorry, no offer to reschedule nothing! To top it all off i got a call telling me that i could come in at my scheduled time after all. At this point I already made other arrangements. They obviously don't need my business and I don't need them

On the 24thUlta won't refund my money
On the 24th, I purchased a gift card in the store to use immediately, I paid and waited at the cashier, I was very embarrassed so I realized that the gift was not yet available, I went out and waited, 1 hour, and nothing, I decided to pay in cash so as not to spend the day there and it was about to close, the gift was only available at night, horrible experience, I was very angry, now I'm trying to get a refund. Since they made a mistake and are refusing to return my money, I thought it was a serious company, they are not, I don't want the gft because I don't want to buy from this horrible store anymore, I just want my money back, Ulta is a company without commitment to the consumer, in addition to the embarrassment in the store, I am forced to go to court to ask for the money back.

OMG, what a loser company
OMG, what a loser company, wish I could give zero stars.
On 12/13/24, I ordered Estee Lauder face cream for my daughter, the free gift that was included had something very specific in it that I wanted and received confirmation of the order via email right away.
On 12/14/24, I received another email stating that my order was "ready to go". I was charged $67.35 at that time despite the website's statement, "You will not get charged for any items until they're shipped..."
Shipper was noted as OnTrac and a tracking # included.
First mistake was that the company took my money immediately, even though the order had not been shipped. The shipment was due to arrive 12/23/24, but when it did not arrive, I emailed Ulta that day to request an update. Zero response until I called Customer Service for an update on 12/26/24. I find out that that the gift bag is no longer is available, that they could start a new order to get me the cream. Unbelievable, the worst service from any company I've ever encountered. I asked how they could compensate me for the loss of not having access to my money for more than two weeks. The response is sorry, sorry, sorry. I will be vigilant and monitor my account for the refund, which is not immediate. It will have been three weeks that Ulta had my money and I did not. Is that not theft, holding my money in their account when I have nothing?
What a saga, but between phone and email, a waste of my time. How can they compensate me for that?
Bottom line, I am shocked at how poorly run this company is, lousy customer service, not one person emailed or called or texted to let me know that my order had not been shipped. And they kept my money.
This company should pay close attention to the numerous negative reviews on TrustPilot and do better. I will never shop there again.
Maybe I'll change my review of Ulta if they offer me something for the grave inconvenience I've been made to suffer (no Estee Lauder for my daughter on Christmas), loss of access to my money for three weeks, and an entire time sink dealing with the company.
Ulta--hope you're reading this and can make it right with me.

Awful customer service
I bought an item online that was a special offer. The deal was you spend $42 on Lancome products and you can purchase the Holiday Beauty Box for $79 (original price $650). I originally opted for store pickup but the Holiday Beauty Box ended up being out of stock at that location. They cancelled the Beauty Box only and not the other items I purchased. The Beauty Box shows as available online but they required I place a brand new order with new purchases (minimum $42 Lancome products a second time) to be eligible for the special offer costing me more money. The customer service was awful. They disconnected me from the chat multiple times and no one could help me. Their only solution was to buy an item online for $650 that was a special offer for $79, or buy more Lancome products that I don't need.

My wife bought two gift cards last week. $175 and $150. When she got home she realized that she made a mistake....the $150 card was supposed to be $100. Within 2 hours she went back to the store to get the mistake fixed. They wouldn't do it. I called thier corporate office and sppent a hour on hold (staying on for proinciple now) ....and they said they would have the store call me. they never did. ULTA SUCKS....THERE ARE OTHER PLACES OUT THERE!

I made an online order two seconds…
I made an online order two seconds later I seen that there was a special code that I could enter for 20% off and a free gift so I called to cancel my previous order so I could re-order it and they said they could not help me they could not cancel my order I would have to wait five days to ask for a cancellation and they could not adjust my order so I could have my free gift.
