Horrible stores. Last 2 Ultas I visited (mall of Georgia and Gainesville) were bad experiences. They have very little knowledge of the products and ingredients, just want to get you to buy the most expensive products. If you don't they just brush you off and walk away. They don't ask for but demand your personal phone number when you get to the cash to pay and if you don't give your number you are told that you can't return the item without a "ulta membership" so I guess a receipt means nothing???? I can buy online from many different vendors like ebay, amazon etc and have it shipped to my door for the same price and no hassle of young stupid haughty sales reps who have a great deal to learn about customer service. Ulta you just lost my business and I really have no idea why any one would shop at your stores.

My wife ordered a gift card for her sister. It never arrived at the correct address. After calling and talking to 3 different representatives for 90+ minutes, none of them had the same story on where the card was even shipped. The only part they all agreed on is that I would not be getting a refund or any compensation for the obscene amount of time I spent getting jerked around their phone system. They told me they would be sending the case to "escalations" which is their code word for the trash can. I'm very excited to never spend another of my family's dollars with these people. I advise anyone reading to do the same.

I went to ulta at city center, Houston, TX a few days ago and the sales was very nice to introduce me two tea tree products as I requested. I was not sure if that works for me or not so I only picked a 75 ml trial size. When I checked out, the same lady already waited at the register and when she found I only bought one bottle, she said: only this much? I was furious but didn’t say anything. When I came home, I realized I was so angry that I have to give a review for this. I don’t have to buy anything I don’t want to!!

I went to Ulta New Caney TX, requested accent highlights but once I showed the pictures, I ended up with a color on half my head and half just bleached out, no style defined Whatsoever. Horrible haircut not flattering either but ended up with a $150.00 ticket! Most inexperienced person, the manager was most concerned with the $$ I was going to pay than making sure I would be a satisfied customer with the service! Thumb down! They don’t know what they’re doing, that’s my personal experience!

Does Ulta really have a customer service. I ask specific questions expecting specific answers that I never get specifically addressed. I filed a complaint regarding a product I had an allergic reaction to and request to recall the following items from their shelf. Instead I get a response about reimbursement and I know I cannot return my item since I used a gift card to place my purchase and then immediately discarded my gift card thereafter knowing that if I need to reuse my gift card code to repurchase another item I would still need to enter in my PIN number. Perhaps, Ulta Customer Service is likely a computer generated response system. Not a very cool way to run a corporate business you guys.

Talk about a Safurday Night Live skit that should happen! The young thing that belonged in a circus act was, well...really dense. Jimmy Fallon needs to contact me on this one! Seriously, but that won't happen. I'll just share it with my friends. My husband and I laughed our asses off.

If I was able to I would give them no stars I would I ordered an online shipment ($187) never received it so looked it up said package was damage so they returned it. After three weeks or so I called to see what was going on and customer service rep let me know it was returned they would refund my account in a couple days. Well a week after that phone call I still was not refunded so I called again another 6-8 minute wait and spoke to another CSR and she put me on hold to review things another 6 minutes on hold so then she offered to resend everything I told her no I spoke to someone a week ago and I never got anything refunded she stated ok we can refund your account but it will take 3-5 bussiness days. Total time on the phone with them was 20 minutes. Then I told her I better not be charged no interest on my card she stated that wasn’t her department I had to call the bank I’m like really you guys need to get it together, this is so upsetting that I have to go around in circles just for you guys to refund my account. I’m so dissappointed I will no longer order anything from ulta I will be closing my account with them and I spend $300-500 yearly with them.
