Ulta BeautyReviews of ulta.com

I go to the town center location in Jacksonville Fl. Always a long line to check out. Never stocked in anything. Store is always a mess. Never enough ppl working, and if they are they are never helpful. Done. Officially will always go to Sephora from now on.

I went to purchase $100 worth of product yesterday online, and receive an 11 PC lip sampler. I tried all day to make the purchase, it would never go through, I got sidetracked and then I called today to see if they will fulfill my order the 1st person said she was having phone problems, i asked her to call me back, she ended up hanging up on me, and didn't bother to call me back, I called back and they won't give me the online special. I will not be ordering my products through Ulta. I will shop somewhere else. I am very dissatisfied with them.

Beware!!! If you use the form on their app to leave a comment or complaint: They will send your complaint directly to the store where you shop. It will also have you name, email and phone number in it. They share it with the staff. I’m told ( from store manager) it’s policy.

I placed an order after hitting purchase I realized one of my "saved for later" items had moved in with my purchased items. I did not want to purchase that item with my order. I called Customer Service within 10 minutes of placing my order and spoke to a gentleman who assured me my order would be cancelled and that I begin my new cart with the products I did intend to by for that day. I reordered the 5 other items. A few hours later I checked my email and say my first order was still pending so I wrote the customer service an email to follow up that my order should have been cancelled and I did not want to be billed for it and just wanted to make sure. I wake up today and have an email that the order is now shipped! I called again customer service and speak with someone else who tells me "yeah there is no way to stop the order now". Um what?! He said I do see your notes in here that you called yesterday but they should have told you that the warehouse doesn't always see cancellation notes. He said you can bring the stuff to the store and return it. The reason I order online is because the nearest store is 40 minutes away! He then said I could ship it back at my cost. Why should I have to pay to ship it back when they told me the order would be cancelled?? He said there is nothing I can do for you. So now I'm double paying. When I asked if you could send me a return label he LAUGHED and said he could not do that. Absolutely terrible service. I told him try and cancel my 2nd order he said "I'll try, you'll get an email whether that went through or not too". Can't believe what company works like this.

I used to love this company but the last year or two they are going down hill fast. A brand new store just opened near me in the Orlando area and I was excited to have a store so close to home. Each time I go there, the people who work there seem more interested in chatting with their co-workers than offering to help me. I realize that I am a senior citizen but that does not mean that I do not deserve their attention. Today I stopped in to try some IT Bye Bye Foundation. I found it and went to the area with the applicators. They have really gotten cheap...they used to have disposable lip brushes, disposable sponges, etc. Now they only have cotten squares, q-tips, shadow and mascara applicators. I tried on several items and not one person offered assistance... There was a display showing a special offer that you get a free 'kit' with purchase of IT ByeBye Foundation but there was no ' kits ' anywhere. I waited next to the display as 2 staff members stood nearby basically joking and laughing together, ignoring me. After awhile, I finally walked over to them to inquire where to get the kit with purchase. One looked up to inform me they were out of them and that I should check back on Friday (it was Wed.) What? I just got the email about the special yesterday. I have to come back? Really? Not happening. I bought nothing and left feeling annoyed. I am going to Sephora. Much better help and they always have what I want.

The Novi, Michigan store staff were snide, rude, unwelcoming, and unfriendly towards this fat, black woman. Even the flamboyantly gay guy. I am surprised by so many negative reviews. I don't know if this is the case with all of the stores, and I won't know, because I will not patronize any of them again.

Offers an 11 piece gift set with 65$ purchase. Allows it to be added to cart and when I recieve package its not in it. Contacted them and they say it is out of stock. Enticing people to buy with offer of a gift and then not sending the gift is not ok. I ordered just a few hours into the offer and it never said out of stock.

Do not order online! If there is a problem with your order, they will likely not resolve the problem! If they ship it to the wrong address which they did in my case, they’ll expect the item to be returned before they will refund the order to you or replace the order! It is not likely you will receive a refund on the order or a replacement! They don’t ask for signature upon deliver and end up leaving it at the door, therefore it cannot be guaranteed it ever arrives or will ever be returned! Needless to say, there will be no refund and no product received! Do not order online, I suggest not doing business with them at all!!!!!
