I would give this place zero stars if I could. This place and their customer service is worthless. If you ever have an issue with your order, I hate to break it to you, but you are screwed. They are rude, in store they ignore you, online it’s like you don’t even exist. Their “rewards” (if you want to call it that) are a joke....you’ll never get to utilize them or any coupon they ever send you. They will tell you you can use them online...until you go to do it, then the story changes. Don’t waste your time or money at this joke of a store. Sephora for life.

I placed an online order today, September 6, 2019, between approximately 12:15PM and 12:30PM. At the time I placed the order, I thought I would be able to pick the order up from the store in Altamonte Springs, FL. However, as I worked through the process and finalized it, I realized was not given this option. At this realization, I telephoned customer service at approximately, 12:35PM to ask about the option and was informed by "Aleeza S." that this was not available to pick up at a store. I told her I wanted to cancel the order and that I would just drive to the store to get it today instead of waiting for it by mail. She said it takes 30 minutes to an hour before it hits the system. She said she would send a note to a manager to cancel the order. She said this should happen within an hour. At 2:35PM I received an email from Aleeza S. indicating the order had been processed. This was 2 hours after the fact. That allowed ample time for the order to be cancelled. I have had it with ULTA! Ulta will never have to worry about me as a customer. I will never cross your threshold again! You people can't even keep merchandise stocked properly and you ever have the OPI colors in stock. I will use my purchasing power elsewhere. I am highly disappointed. I have been a longtime customer of Ulta Beauty. This could have been handled and canceled. I gave you ample time to do so. This is the first, second or third time I've been disappointed in Ulta, but it will be the last time.

Customer service is basically useless. I ordered 2 candles and a bottle of shampoo. Ordered the shampoo literally only to get free shipping for the candles. I called customer service within MINUTES of receiving the email saying the candles were out of stock and were being cancelled from my order. I explained since they dont have the candles, please also cancel the shampoo. Customer service rep said the orders are immediately sent to fulfillment and cant be cancelled but I could return it to my closest store. My closest store is 45 minutes away. I'm livid and will never shop here again. I dont have these problems when I order the candles from qvc. Bye, ulta!

I’m one to rarely write reviews or provide feedback. However, after my most recent experience in Pensacola Fl I feel like it is absolutely necessary. I was making a purchase on Saturday afternoon when the cashier told me I’d receive 20% off my purchase if I signed up for the Ulta credit card. I was hesitant but was informed that it only took a moment and I could pay it in full immediately. Since I shop there frequently and I could pay it off right there I went for it. After the transaction I gave her my debit card to pay it off and was then told I couldn’t pay in store but would have to download an app to pay. Wait, what?? Okay, so I download the app which isn’t at all user friendly for someone just trying to make a payment. I then called in to make the payment & was told I’d have to wait 48 hours for the transaction to post. Okay... not at all what I was told. By this point I was frustrated but set a reminder to call back to pay. This morning I called again. The first person I spoke with had me on the line for quite some time before transferring me to the payment line after verifying all my info, etc. Second person verified everything again & then proceeds to tell me there will be a $9 charge for her to take payment information. This is after I shared my frustrations, so I asked to please cancel the account and transfer me to someone who can process my payment. On to the third representative who once again verified all my personal information and ultimately processed my payment. All in all it took 4 attempts (in store, app & 2 phone calls) to make a payment when I was blatantly lied to about the process. This last call took 3 representatives and almost 20 minutes!! This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Absolutely ridiculous. I just wanted to let you know that you’ve not only lost my credit card account but you have also lost me as a customer for life. What a shame. Best of luck.

Ulta’s customer service is absolute garbage. I called because my package got lost, so I wanted a replacement. The ONLY reason I bought almost $80 worth of products is because they had a free gift with any $70 purchase. When I asked for a replacement, he said they couldn’t send the free gift. So then I asked for a refund. He told me “he wasn’t sure if he could” and then proceeded to be rude and raise his voice to me about me wanting a refund. He told me I “may or may not” get an email but if I didn’t, I’d have to call back and go through the whole process again. Not ONCE did he say he was sorry for any of this. Needless to say, I have yet to get a package OR a refund and I plan to never buy from them again.

Bought a product on Ulta's website on 8/16, it still hasn't come on 8/27 when tracking info said it would arrive on the 24th. That alone isn't the worst issue. It started when I attempted to buy the item at several different Ulta locations, none of which had it in stock (even though it's their own Ulta brand SPF setting spray). Worst part of it is when I went into the Salem, OR location and they tried to sell me half-empty, obviously used bottles for full price! They literally had only two bottles in the whole store, and both were used, and they WOULD HAVE sold one to me if I hadn't asked why I was going to be charged full price for a half-used product. Only after I mentioned it did they change their tune and say they weren't allowed to sell used products... Yet they put these used products back on the shelves with the full intention of selling them to someone who might not notice. Horrible business practices. The website is trash, physical locations are no better. Do yourself a favor and don't buy from Ulta. If anyone wants to complain that Amazon is killing other businesses, this is why! If your business is full of rude employees, offers horrible customer service, and sells used items at full price, who are you to blame anyone for giving their business to Amazon instead?

I went to the Ulta in Spring Hill Tn and the employees there (aside from blonde cashier)were not helpful. I am not familiar with the store layout and asked for an item and the girl says it’s over there. I told her I wasn’t familiar with the store but instead of showing me the item since there’s thousand of products. She chose to continue to speak with other employee. I just left.
