I bought a gift card from ralphs the pin code got messed up. had a receipt to prove purchased calle and emailed ralphs they said contact ulta i called and email ulta and they said to contact original seller. they both throw it at each other and none of them want to give me a refund this is BS. They cant refund a $25 gift card??

The return policy is a hassle. They either ask you to return it at their actual store or you have to literally mail it to them where you would have to pay for the packaging and the shipping cost additionally. This is my first time and last time ordering from them, I would rather stick with Sephora

Ulta use to be top notch. They have dropped the ball more and more it seems like. Going from always able to solve your problems and correct orders to damage orders and not able to place orders due to their errors. I’ve spoke with Ulta beauty credit card I have more than enough money on the card and there’s no errors on their end. Then when I go to place my order I get an M1 error and the run around of if all my information is correct and if I have the funds. Yes my information is correct, yes I have the funds, the M1 error is something everyone has that’s on Ulta’s end. Then my bag is now gone in my cart and they cannot retrieve the items I had picked out. I’m so over Ulta. Yall can have your credit card and everything. I’m done. It shouldn’t be this hard to buy makeup. I’ll go to Sephora.

I bought a few items for $185.43 in 2024. Due to hardship, I am unable to pay bills. I can't catch up with the LATE FEES and INTEREST charges on my account. a participant's elective deferral account made because of an immediate and heavy financial need, and limited to the amount necessary to satisfy my financial need. The money is taxed to me and is not paid back to the borrower's account.

The closest Ulta store to me is an hour away, so I opted this time to place an order online. HUGE mistake. I qualified for free shipping, they charged me anyway, so I had to contact customer service to have it refunded. They sent the items via FedEx ground, it has now been in Fed Ex limbo for 10 days, somewhere in Colorado. The delivery date has changed no less than 5 times, trying to get anywhere with FedEx has proven to be impossible, all I get is automated "customer service". When I reached out to Ulta about the issue I was informed the items were sent in two different parcels. I only received ONE tracking number. Ulta said they would resend the items standard shipping another 3-10 days, (I asked for expedited shipping but that was out of the question.) And alas the items that I ordered are now "out of stock" according to customer service. Ulta Online, is a complete waste of time, poor customer service just an bad experience all around. I realize that they have no control over FedEx and that issue but their customer service is absymal. Tried to email them off the website about the experience and it won't let me submit the issue. Well played Ulta.

They will steal your money and the only hire racists apparently. I hope ULTA goes bankrupt I can’t wait to read that every store is closing due to their BS! Disgusting GO TO SEPHORA THEY HAVE BETTER ITEMS ANYWAYS!!!

Delayed packages and no customer service representatives available. In general, I will just sit and wait for delayed products, but with the weather changes that have been happening, you can bet that the overpriced products I purchased have been compromised as they get pushed back another week in transit, likely sitting in a warehouse without proper temperature control. I attempted to contact them to discuss this but was met with an ai bot and no possibility of talking to a real person. Guess it's time to try Sephora.
