Honestly Ulta did a poor job with communicating. Bath and body works candle day two days prior made its shipment to me in 3 days!!!!! I have ordered from Amazon, Athleta, Macy’s, Walmart, all online on the same weekend and already received all my shipments. But not from Ulta!!! I get a lousy email stating that we are sorry but we are working hard to get your packages delivered; please check your order status to most current information. Well that information says shipped?? So how is this suppose to help? Do we even know where the packages are? Customer service has been awful and no help. Worst company service. Will go to Sephora instead. Should of read the reviews before placing a order. Seems to be a REAL problem with ULTA and nothing is being done!!

buyers beware. Horrible... horrible policy. Do not place online orders. If something happens or something is out of stock they will cheat you out of $$ and your products. Please read all the reviews. It all makes sense. The way they do business is hard to believe they’re still in business. You (the customer) will lose the battle Be cautious.

Ulta is the worst company to deal with & with all the awful reviews I’m now reading I’m not sure why they are still in business. I just filed a complaint with the BBB regarding an order I placed for about 200.00 that I will never receive because of an error with my address that they made. I recently moved & changed my addresses & phone number on the website before I ordered but for some reason my order is being shipped to my old address. I called a number of times only to get the same runaround each time. We cannot help you we cannot change an address nor cancel the order. I called immediately after placing the order when I realized that they were shipping to my old address even though I changed the address on the website. I was told that no one could help me & that it was my problem not theirs. We cannot cancel or change anything. I received a text message today stating that my order was ready to ship but be patient because it may take some time to leave the warehouse. I called again & got the exact same runaround sorry can’t do anything about this shipment going to a different state & wrong address. DO NOT ORDER THRU ALTA. THEY ARE UNCARING UNDERHANDED SCAMMERS. Do yourself a favor use Sephora or any other reputable company. Ulta is not a reliable company to waste your time and money on. STAY AWAY FROM ALTA!!!!!!

BEWARE: HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! This is the worst experience I have had dealing with a retail chain or any store. I placed an order on Ulta.com because I was interested in a Black Friday free gift with $60 purchase. I found enough items to purchase to get the gift and ended up getting three free gifts that were valued at $140. When I received my package, the wrong order was inside. I called customer service immediately and was told they could only reship the base items and not the free gifts. I explained that I only ordered the items to get the free gifts. I was offered a $15 gift card to make up for the $140 worth of free gifts. I declined and was told I would have to speak to a supervisor. I waited and waited and was finally told there were no supervisors available and one would call me back that night. Again, I waited but no call. I called back again. This time I was told that there were no supervisors available that time of night and one would call me back the next day. When I did not receive a call the next day, I called back again and was told no supervisors were available. I called back again and was told I would be called 24-48 hours from my first call. No one ever called. I then got an email from guest experiences to rank my service. Gave them a low ranking and received an email from a supervisor who basically said the same as the first representative. I finally called a fifth time (five days later) and requested a refund since I still did not have anything I ordered and no longer wanted it. I had to fight for the refund, read my legal rights to the representative, and threaten to just dispute the claim with AMEX before she agreed to refund my purchase. She was supposed to send me an email verifying the refund, but I never received it. I will never buy from Ulta.com again and would recommend you avoid it as well. If anything goes wrong with your order, even if it completely their fault, they will not follow-up to make it right.

Worst customer service and they are liars. I called because the ups tracking number did not work. The company lied and said ups picked it up after an hour and a 1/2 going back and forth they finally admitted that it had not shipped but would not cancel the order. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE SCAMMER!!!!

Placed online order 11/29. Recvd email 12/1 stating to expect to receive it within 3-10 business days. 12/4 - They charged my card (even tho thier website and confirmation email both state that they will not charge your card until the order ships). Also, received the tracking number. It has never shipped. Asked Ulta for a refund (via 2 chats, 3 phone calls and 2 supervisors). Was told the order was "completed" in their warehouse so they can't cancel it or issue a refund. Ridiculous.
