Terrible the customer service! Especially when you buy products online. They are rude! Starting with the supervisor! My item never arrived and I have been basically begging them now to give me my money back. I won’t buy anything from ulta anymore. Sephora’s customer service is extremely good. I will stick with them as from now on

I must admit before Covid, shipping usually took from 3 to 5 days most. Now you should consider yourself lucky if you even GET the package at all. I placed an order on 01/11 and they send me a tracking number a couple of days later. Now it has been 8 days and still have no package and I can't even track my package so I have no idea where it is. I am so disappointed I put this order in 2 weeks before my bday hoping it was enough time but ef me right. BTW this is my second time not receiving a package.

I placed an order on 1/15/21 for the Dyson Air Wrap and 2 serums from The Ordinary. When I got my delivery it was in a small bubble wrap packaging and the Dyson was not in it. I called customer service and was told that they would escalate the issue and I would hear back in 48 hours but I called them tonight after not hearing anything and was told that I have to wait another 48 hours to hear from a supervisor. Meanwhile, my account was charged for the full amount of the order. I even have the pictures of the packaging that clearly shows the tracking number that I was provided and the invoice that says that the Dyson Air Wrap was supposed to be in the box. I do not see how the money can be taken so quickly from my account but in order to get help I have to wait and hope someone calls me eventually! And from what I heave read, they aren't even going to resolve the issue all because it says my package was delivered, they stole over $500 from me!

Pretty much in tears over horrible customer service I was having issues with my points and was sent back and forth between commenity bank and ulta customer service. No one could help me and just sent me to the other person. Every single person I talked to told me something different. Anyway long story short I called ulta one last time. I admit I was frustrated and know I probably sounded irritated, but the person I spoke to was incredibly rude and basically called me a liar for saying I had made transactions that don’t show up in my rewards account. I told him I felt he was being rude and he responded “yes. I am”. Now I’m scared to call back and my issue still isn’t resolved. I feel awful. I regret getting this card in the first place.

EDIT: they got back to me and said they are resending my items and apologize for the confusion. I will update my review when this is resolved. I ordered $95 worth of products and when my package arrived there were three items totaling about $20 that I didn’t even order. When I reached out to customer service I was told the correct items would be sent to me and that I would receive a return label to ship back the three items that were sent to me by error-I was asked to just confirm my shipping address. I was very pleased until I received an email stating that “ sometimes packages say they were delivered but haven’t haven’t been, please contact us in three days if you haven’t received your package” This is incredibly frustrating because the last time I was in contact with customer service, I was told a shipment of the items I paid for would be sent out. Now I’m being told I have to wait 3 days ...for a package I already received but was wrong...makes no sense whatsoever and I feel like my money is being held for ransom...the last time I ordered online there was an item missing from my order. Considering canceling my credit card and just going to Sephora, they’ve never messed up an order and their customer service is much more helpful in my opinion. Really turned off by the whole situation.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Dropped my call twice. After they picked up for the third time I called they didn’t solve any problems at all. I had placed an order but for the wrong address and tried to get in touch to change it THE SAME DAY. All they told me was that nothing could be done. Completely garbage service and garbage people. Ulta needs to get it together and so does their customer service people. Sephora is much better customer service anyways.

The salon didn’t answer the phone for days and then I got a return call after the salon closed and they made the appointment. When I got there, the appointment was double booked and we had to wait for someone else to do their appointment first. I was able to show them on my phone the day and time Ulta called me to book and everyone was confused because the salon was closed at that time. Turns out the front desk lady booked it and shouldn’t have and didn’t know how to do it and didn’t do it right. All of that can happen, I suppose. The frustration came with how they handled the situation. Basically just said that I’d have to wait.

Customer service is terrible. Might be best not to order anything off the website. I Ordered a large package and it got here over a week later with nothing but a mascara and false lashes that I didn’t even order. When I called to get my order reshipped they told me I would no longer be receiving the free gifts I was suppose to receive with my order so I asked for a refund because I added a few items in my cart because it said it came with some really great samples. I had absolutely no issue just simply getting my refund. Then they told me I had to got out of my way to reprint a shipping label and go to the post office durring a pandemic to resend the mascara that they messed up and sent me. And at this point I’m not even waiting on any items from them. I’m just wasting my time correcting their mistake.
