Worst customer service I have ever received. I placed an order and accidentally sent it to my old address. Within minutes I was on the phone to customer service trying to change the address. They said they couldn’t change my address so I asked them to cancel the order. He said he would cancel my order on Sunday and I thought everything was good... today (Wednesday) I get the money take out of my account so I called to see what was going on. They said they don’t guarantee cancellations and because my order was already sent there was nothing they could do! I told them I spoke with a guy Sunday (BEFORE IT WAS EVEN SHIPPED) and he said it was canceled. I asked to talk to a superior or someone that could help me and she said she tried and I would have to do a call back. I told her when would that be I have work and she just said there is nothing else I can do and hung up!!!!!!! Will never shop with Ulta again!

They are the worst with shipping. I've learned my lesson and will never order from them again. A month after receiving a shipping notice, the item is still awaiting carrier pick-up. I sent them an email and they reshipped the order, only to have it stuck awaiting carrier pickup once again. Terrible company.

Do not buy on the website , they state they deliver the order when you do not receive the package . they do not give you the money back or the order so i am now out 160 dollars never again will i buy here

Today I ordered an item realized it was going to be shipped instead of store pickup. I called immediately to cancel the order. The lovely customer service person told me she would email the warehouse, but could not guarantee the cancelation. I thought that was a bit strange. So I quickly went back to the web site to see if I could cancel the order from the web site. After a deep dive I found how to cancel the order. Four hours later I received an email from customer services saying the order could not be cancelled. Ulta you are failing your customers, and you have lost a loyal one.

I started using their hair color Madison Reed. It was hit or miss wether or not they would have it in stock. I told the manager I lived 10 mins away and could she keep my color in stock I will buy it every 2 weeks. She said we don't do that here. I said okay then another occasion she told me they didn't have my color 9n on shelves or in the back. She wouldn't even check so I walked out disappointed. My boyfriend saw that I was upset and he decided to go in and he asked for the same color and they gave it to him! No problem !He was able to get better service then myself! Go figure. Now I order direct from the website Madison Reed. Won't ever go back there.

Literally the worst customer service ever. Do not spend your money here. Their app is garbage, they hire less than competent people to “help”. I will write a terrible review on ANY/EVERY platform available to me about how truly awful ulta is and should be out of business.

Customer service is terrible! Tried the live chat multiple times unsuccessfully, called 2x an got no help, finally emailed and still was not helped. Just told I had to place in store orders an could not purchase online or in the app, with no legitimate reason why!

Placed an order by mistake and within 20mins submitted a request to cancel. I told the rep that I needed to cancel because I placed the order by mistake and he told me that's not a "valid reason for cancellation" so I had to wait for the package, refuse it upon arrival, and now I have to wait 30 days to receive a refund. This is the worst customer experience I've ever experienced in my entire life. I would recommend you avoid Ulta like the plague.
