So, you’re an Ulta manager sitting down with a potential new hire. Do you make sure that the person is: Horribly and disgustingly rude? Check! Do you make sure the person has: no personality and is a miserable human being? Check! Do you also look for condescending, egotistical, narcissistic, hateful, know it alls? Check! Do you also make sure they are extremely lazy and super uninterested in their job and in helping customers? Check! I can go on and on and on..

Shop literally anywhere else. They have the worst customer service of any store I have been to. They consistently do not honor advertised prices. The salon is a nightmare. They ruined my hair went back to have a supervisor fix it and still wasn’t fixed. It’s not even just the stores though corporate is horrible as well. They don’t respond, they don’t value customers, and they are rude.

Do not ever shop from Ulta. I ordered $400 worth products. They lost my package and when I am calling them no one responding since a month. They are just keep blaming shipping company to the Ulta. They do not even respond or agreeing to give me my products. Please please beware of giving them any kind of business. I had two packages ordered Sephora and Ulta. Both my packages got lost. Sephora sent me another package right away and Ulta couldn’t even agreeing or responding to my any questions. I would give no star to this brand.

This business is beyond being face mask militant. Although I have a mask exemption, the sales staff badgered me loudly and impolitely about being in the store without a mask. I finally left, vowing never to shop there again. Today, I ordered Bare Minerals foundation from the Bare Minerals website directly. Customer service still counts! Turn off the customers and they will go elsewhere.

I was over the moon that ulta was going to be shipping to canada , months ago now. I had been waiting and checking daily to see when they began shipping here. The notice was removed from their site. So I emailed to enquire, and I was told "we decided not to. Thanks" - didnt advise anything more. Waa extremely short. And it took over a week for that reply. Also, before this... when emailed them about an issue I have & needed professional help. Whether they shipped here or not. They would know the answers I need. It was a very personal email that I wrote to them, took over 15-20 to type it all out. And, i never received a reply. That, left a very bad taste in my mouth. Very unprofessional.

I made a purchase and needed to modify my address. There is this crazy process u have to go through just for a address modification. I now have to wait to hear from the cancellation team and HOPE they can cancel my order in time. If not my package will no make it to my location since i cant modify it. So if that happens i have to go through another process due ro a lost package. Never in my life have i had this much trouble over on a online purchase. I know it will never happen again cause i will never order from ulta again

Recently I went to dye my hair in ultra beauty emeryville and I was waiting for my hair to turn ash color .Guess what it turned into golden which I don’t like and now it is turning orange after washing with their suggested hair color shampoo and conditioner .It was a horrible experience .I hope nobody should get a experience like me cause the person who dyed my hair keeps on saying my hair is a lot and her hair is paining .but I have paid 220 for my hair ,it is not free . they charged me so high .when I booked the appointment it was hair cut 40 and hair dye 120 and over there they charged me 220 .I will be more than happy to give extra tips if the hair turns out well .Now my hair is turning orange and golden mixed .Are they going to refund or give discount for my situation ? big no .So I told my friend about my experience and they are really unhappy too .Just want to share my experience so nobody should have bad experience at ulta beauty emeryville .Worst service I have ever seen in my entire life .

I was at Ulta today. I was waiting at the checkout counter and no one was there. After a while I started timing it. I heard someone tell the cashier multiple times that someone was waiting, but no one showed up. Five plus minutes later the girl begins slowly coming over. She is stopping and fixing things on the shelf, not caring that I am there. Even after looking at me and someone telling her again I was waiting. She then grabs another woman's product and takes it around the register to ring her up. She looks at me and says I will be with you in a moment. I say back (nicely) that I have been waiting. The woman's whose product she took says she does not mind waiting til after me. The cashier tells her absolutely not, looks at me and says I can wait. I set my products down on the counter and just walk out. She does not apologize, I just heard her give some comment to me in a very snippy voice. This is not the first time I have waited at the line with no one to check me out. Another employee will always be telling someone I am there and I am always ignored. It is always the same girl who then eventually comes up. This never happens when there is another cashier there. And this specific one never apologizes for my wait. I usually don't care because I understand people are busy. But taking the other woman in front of me, when she suggested that she didn't mind waiting was the last straw for me. I will not go back there.
