Ordered a gift card 2 wks in advance. The card was not sent until I called Ulta to inquire. Ulta had the card scheduled to be sent at 7:30pm, not at my request. When the card was finally sent and opened, I did not receive an email from Ulta informing me that the card was viewed. This nonsense went on for several emails back and forth to Ulta with absurd explanations. Very Poor service!

Worst experience ever! Prejudice salon workers, unprofessional, rude and ignorant. I will NEVER spend a penny here. I called on June 11 to make an appt for a cut and asked if they had someone who could cut African American natural hair. The incompetent DISTRICT EDUCATOR (DJ) said yes, we have Summer. He said all their cuts come with wash and style and cost $45. I arrived at the Monroe, LA salon June 12 for my 1pm appointment and was promptly told that "we can't do your hair". Buffy, the most unprofessional, rude, and prejudice person I've met said they couldn't do it in the amount of time that THEY booked for me and they couldn't do it for the price I'd been quoted. She continued by saying it would take 2 to 2 1/2 hours just to straighten it for a cut and it would cost "alot more" than I was quoted. (Really? 2.5 hours just to straighten my hair???) Be mindful that she said this from across the room while standing over her client who was in her chair!!! (AND they do this $45 cut service for their Caucasian customers!) I was not offered a different time slot, never asked if I wanted to reschedule and never told how much "my hair" would cost for a cut. I felt humiliated even after attempting to discuss this with asst manager Amy who defended the District Educator who made my appt. I reported this to customer service and requested a callback from corporate about what seems to be discriminatory practices. Their solution was asking the African American asst store manager to call me and "REFUND HER MONEY". She informed them that I was not due a refund because they refused to do my hair. This dragged on for over a week and I waited another 2 weeks to connect with the store manager who was clearly too busy to address it in a timely manner. ULTA DOES NOT VALUE OR APPRECIATE AFRICAN AMERICAN CUSTOMERS SO DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY THERE!!!

I am extremely disappointed in Ulta beauty’s approach to handling my credit card dispute. I informed them of financial issues and that I contracted covid, which made it extremely difficult to pay off my account. I have received two late fees of $35, in total $70. I asked them to consider that I have had financial hardship and have been sick, and they refused to waive the late fees. I have been informed that they only waive one late fee every 18 months. This is insane given we have all experienced a PANDEMIC. I was looking to settle my debt in full and they still would not consider my circumstances and waive the fees. I am 100% disappointed and disgusted with how the company has handled this issue and I’m sure many others like mine. From here on out, I will be taking my business else where. Do not open a card with them!! You will regret it!!!

Absolutely worst guest assistance over the phone and refuse to change or cancel any orders that you make online if you are not on a high enough membership. They basically waist your money and the email and telephone costumer service is the worst that i have ever worked with in all of my online shopping experiences.

I booked appointment 4 days ago for cut and color. I showed up today to be told I would have to wait 2 hours. All they said to me was sorry. My only day off is Sunday so I'm very upset since I'm leaving town and can't find anyone else to do my hair in time. North Myrtle beach!!

the workers at the ulta in waterford, ct are literally awful. i just walked out of their store and i’m sitting in my car fuming. all of them need to work on their retail skills or need to find another job. i will never step foot in that store again. they follow you around like you are going to do something wrong. i got yelled at for opening a product when i didn’t even open anything. and all the workers were gossiping about customers. if i could give a 0 out of 5 stars i would. way to make a customer feel uncomfortable while shopping in your store.

Horrible that they screwed all their Canadian Shoppers in EVERY WAY.

Worst customer service, and very questionable business. I tried canceling the order 2 minutes after I placed it, they told me they can't do it. Their customer service is overseas and there is no way to get a hold of corporate. I wish Better Business Bureau would look into the amount of obvious fraud that is being reported here
