Will never shop there again. First off. They overprice their items for the purpose of making their sales look good. Second. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. After a recalled item that causes cancer, tried to chat with someone and they told me a while because they couldn’t find my confirmation number. Even though my confirmation number was received in the app. I emailed three times with no response. I called multiple times while going to a machine. The first time I got a hold of someone they ended up hanging up on me after saying they would look for my order number after requesting my phone number basically so I spoke to them for two seconds and then got disconnected. Finally got a hold of somebody to start my return and they told me that they would send a label and create a return and refund the amount. Days later still no email and no return. I called back again to say hey I did not receive this they said they are processing it and they will make sure it gets done. I never got done. I had to go to the store to return the items. I was only offered store credit because it was too long after the purchase. Not only did I have a receipt but I had my whole order pulled up on my phone as proof of purchase I should have received that money back on my credit card. Not to mention it was a recalled item that caused cancer. They should not be inconveniencing their customers a store credit. I then tried to go online to report all this difficulty with their customer service again in hopes that maybe it would get escalated to someone who could solve this or help more. Instead they did absolutely nothing they just said oh we are sorry. I asked what they could do about this (aka escalate, provide a coupon, something….) nothing. they tried to change what I was saying and tell me I can except the offer provided by the store - referring to returning the items for store credit. Which I already explained I had done a few hours ago and was simply trying to report all the difficulty I had. I will not use them again because if something else comes up where I make a larger purchase or something returned I find that it will be very difficult. Their prices are no better than anywhere else. I don’t see myself ever purchasing there again. When I can get it somewhere else cheaper or for the same price.

I very rarely splurge on myself but I did so this morning. Not even five minutes after I placed the order I got a message from Ulta saying spend $80 and receive this gift. I messaged Ulta asking if we could add the gift to my $160 order and was told no. Seems pretty strange that I get a message about a “gift” immediately after placing my order!

As I ordered it stated I could chose to pick up at store and it had me ck to make sure it was there and it was. It then said I would be able to select pick up at the end saving on shipping. I kept looking for it as I made my way thru the order. Then I placed order thinking it would be there Nope!!! Then I called within seconds and they said it’s to late to change order ! They understand my frustration🙄! I am ticked!!! That is NOT how to take care of a member of ultimate rewards!!! Beware!!

Absolutely terrible customer service! I called to say I never received my birthday coupon and they said someone received an in store gift from my account and they have to suspect it was me. I told them I haven’t visited the store in the last 2-3 months and the rep Destiny went silent and I asked if she was still there and she hung up on me lol I told her I never got the coupon so issue me a new one and they’re so hesitant to do that. Why be so stingy and grill your customers on a birthday gift? Sephora has way better customer service! Ulta customer service is a joke. I hope the manager trains people better.

They do not let you cancel their catalog prescription and customer service is exceedingly aggravating insisting on telling me that they respect my decision to not receive the catalog but they are unable to help me.

I placed an order a few days ago. I noticed a mistake right away. I contacted them thru chat and informed them the wrong address was in there. They told me they couldn't change it. I asked if incould cancel the order. They said its already been processed. So basically I'm out 50$ and they can't reorder or refund me. Even though I contacted them promptly. No products and out 50$. Do better ulta.

Placed an order with Ulta Beauty online. Tried to immediately cancel order. This did not happen. I spoke to three representatives. All were not well trained and provided extremely poor customer service. Buyer beware using ulta.com.

I had my hair cut and colored at the Touhy Ave location. This was the first time I'd used Ulta's salon. The cut was WAY shorter than I requested, but the color looked good, so I decided to be patient and deal with the bad cut. However, all the color washed out the first time I shampooed my hair. I've been having my hair colored for decades, and followed the advice I've always received (including from the Ulta stylist) and waited over a week to wash after having it colored. I started contacting Ulta's customer service at this point. I had spent over $200 on a cut I hated and color that was gone after one shampoo. What kind of products are they using that all the color washes out right away? I've never had this happen before. And so I assumed they would offer to do something to help correct the problem. Nope. After almost nine weeks of going back and forth, being ignored, misdirected and lied to, Ulta still hasn't done anything. It has been (by far) the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I wasn't asking for a refund, but I did expect they would offer to re-do the color service, perhaps try to shape the bad haircut into something less terrible. But they've done nothing except waste my time.
