For the last several years, I feel that Ulta has been going down hill. My local store in Snellville, Georgia, is a hot mess! Disorganized, staff is not familiar with product lines that they carry, OUT OF STOCK ON EVERYTHING! The company in general needs an overhaul, as they are notoriously out of anything that goes on sale. Case in point, the Becca Sunlit Bronzers went on sale this week ($23.40 marked down from $38.00), which is a fantastic sale. I know my store was already out of many of the colors before the sale, and of course, now they are out of everything. Ulta online is out of stock on all but one color. Why don't they order extra and stock up online and at the stores BEFORE they go on sale, so they don't run out the first day. If they are out of stock online, they will not let you order in-store and ship once it is back in stock. They will also not do rainchecks. I have decided it is better to pay full price and go to Sephora, then to deal with the constant aggravation and disappointment of dealing with Ulta. I have missed out on so many sales because they are out of the sale items, both online and in-store.

Went into the Florence sc store yesterday to pick up some blush. Could not find any in stock went up to the counter because there were no associates on the floor. Associate at desk was rude and said I can’t leave the register. Waited but no one ever showed up to assist me. I won’t go back to be greeted with such bad customer service

I purchase a IT cosmetic cc cream but the one they send me is defective the pump doesn't work. 😡!!! My first time ordering from Ulta and last one because I really think that you order online to save time.

I purchased a hair dryer at Ulta. It doesn't matter which one, as my review is not about the dryer. When I got home and opened it, the plastic bag containing the hair dryer had been ripped open. Upon further inspection, I found lint on the lint screen. I still wanted to try the hair dryer to see if I liked it, but it didn't work. I could not get it to turn on. Tried different outlets in the house. Nothing. So someone purchased this item, used it long enough to accumulate lint on the screen, returned it, and Ulta put it back out on their shelf. This is not the first time I have purchased something at Ulta, only to get home and find out it had been used. I am done with this store.

I like Ulta Beauty but I do not like the guest services. I placed an order recently and I was suppose too receive the beauty bag with my order I placed it a day after the email and it was available online but wouldn’t let me add it. Guest services said it’s sold out and offered me a 15$ gift card like that even comes close too the beauty bag that was valued at 238$. I talked too four guest services people not including the two I talked too because I was returning the supervoros call that called me. Her name is tonya and she has still not returned my call. I doubt they will do anything too fix the issue but I did take a screen shot of the item it was showing available it’s not my fault they didn’t update their website. Anyway we’ll see if I get a call back at all. I do love the stores but the guest services so far is absolutely no help.

I’ve been to 3 different Ulta’s and always the same problem. Girls that work(and I use that term lightly) there are always talking to each other and avoid eye contact hoping you don’t ask a question..I asked for a price once and was told to walk to the back of the store and use price check. I just left. Tonight I wandered around several minutes trying to find something while the staff were talking amongst themselves. I love the concept but easier to shop the mall where you can get great service.

I went to Ulta in Clearwater on the last day of the 20% sale and there were at least 15 people in line with one cashier. There was only one manager, Lindsey, in the store but she was in the back. There was another sales person, Dolores, who was doing some other activity at the check out counter completely oblivious to the long line of frustrated customers. Very poorly managed store.

I got put on hold for over 10minutes and no one came back to pick up the phone and all I was calling was to change my appointment time for eyebrows. I also called at 1030am.
