I just got home from Ulta. I went in and looked around with my daughter. I had a few items, like 5 and the first two they took and said I couldn't buy? Something about having to throw them out. When I asked why they were on shelves for sale they said they are removing the products tomorrow. It was two separate items, from two different companies. I asked for my birthday gift and they said it was too late for that but did end up giving it to me, "this time"- my birthday was 2 weeks ago admittedly. However, in the past they always just gave it to me when I happened to be in. The entire shopping experience and check out was just really wierd and uncomfortable. I have never had any shop take items I was trying to purchase and tell me they were going to throw them away. There was no expiration date, I asked if that were the issue if I could perhaps just choose another, but the manager said no, we are going to take them all off the shelves? It was rude and not explained well or even politely- I don't really think I'll return. Their customer service is awful.

Went in to Ulta to get some Christmas gift card and the girl asked if i would like to open a credit card I did And went to look for something but they didn’t have it in the store. So the lady told me i can order it online if i had signed up for they rewards program. And i did 5 years ago. I ordered it and was delivered to the wrong address. Apparently it keep my old address as a default address and my billing address as my new address. and t my shipping went to my old address. Called customer service and they said they wasn’t nothing they could do. So my 40 dollars of makeup went to someone else. Worst customer service ever didn’t even ask if they could gave me a gift card for my Troubles . Just said that it was my fault i should have looked at the email better and seen that the address was wrong.

Placed an order both in December and Beginning of January both of which came to my current address. Placed another small order Mid January and for some reason instead of sending to my primary address which I KNOW I selected, they sent it to an old address that I haven’t lived at for 2 years. I didn’t realize this until I checked my tracking and it said it had been delivered, but wasn’t in my mail box. Emailed several times and always got the same answer. They will not refund or resend, because it says the item was successfully delivered to the address provided. I DIDNT GIVE THEM THAT ADDRESS! Talked to someone on the phone and got the same answer, so I proceeded to have a fit, because this wasn’t my fault and they refuse to give my money back. They told me they would send my case higher up and that I would get a phone call within 24/48 hours.. it’s been 3 days and I’ve heard nothing. Never shopping here again.. total scam 🙄.

Unbelievable customer service, absolutely atrocious. I called three times for a package and when I calmly explained the situation, I was met with passive aggressiveness and got hung up on three separate times. Once when I called back, Myrra, who had hung up on me previously, was on the other side of the line again and the moment I spoke they hung up on me again. This is not how you treat a customer, this is absolutely horrible and unacceptable, please reconsider your values you pieces of garbage :)

Had my hair hi lighted in Allentown,Pa by Theresa. And cut, style. She was listed as senior stylist. The color hi lights were not the blonde I asked for ( much too dark) when she cut my hair she used a razor. I have medium length hair. I told her I never had a razor cut before but she’s the senior stylist. I trusted her judgement. Then she proceeded to say I’m going to thin your hair out a little bc it’s thick. I’ve never had my hair thinned out before. Before she put the color hi lights on my hair, she never did a patch test. Subsequently, for months my hair was falling out in large handfuls. I went back to Ulta 5 different times to speak with her and she was never in. The rest of the operators shunned me off. One told me she didn’t work there anymore but her operating license was still hanging at her station. I contacted Ulta main corporate office 6 weeks ago with this issue. Wanted a refund for that service. NO ONE HAS GOTTEN BACK TO ME AT ALL. I went to another specialist who had to cut my hair much shorter to even out the sheared split ends to see if my hair will grow back thicker again. If I could I would go to small claims court and sue them for the damages done to my hair. Loss of sleep bc I was so upset. Coated hair bands and scrunches literally fall right out of my very very short ponytail. I’m washing my hair with thickening shampoo and conditioner and taking vitamins for hair and nails

Package was not delivered and Ulta refuses to refund or re-ship. The chat specialist I spoke with was incredibly rude, didn't understand the situation, then stopped replying entirely but wouldn't end the chat so I could speak with someone else. I've never experienced anything like it.

As a diamond member I'm constantly disappointed with the marketed free gift with purchase. Most recent, the free fragrance gift with purchase ad was up at 6:30 pm and out of stock within 15 minutes. Such a scam. Within the few minutes it took me to add to cart and purchase, the free item was unavailable. Customer service is needs improvement. At very least give the employees the tools to solve problems or make it right. The attitude of it's not my problem isn't ok. Unacceptable and deceptive business practices. Tammy Valentine-garza

Do NOT buy anything from the online website. I contacted customer service 10 minutes about a placed order. I needed to change the shipping address and they assured me it was changed. After several phone calls and chat sessions, the order was delivered 4 states away!! They are refusing a refund or to make things right. I will NEVER shop with ulta again.
