I recently visited my local Ulta looking for a better foundation that would match my skin tone better and give my skin what it needed. I am not a 20 - 30 something wearing all the latest fashion but neither do I go out in my pjs or sweats and am proud to say I am 54 but people have a hard time believing it. I am also not afraid to spend more money on a good foundation that does what I need it to. I wandered around for over 20 minutes and NO one greeted me, asked if I needed helped out acknowledged me in any way, even those that passed within inches of me. They watched me try on a couple of different brands but NOTHING. I was done by this time but the final straw was watching two clerks (and yes I’m sure they are supposed to do this but….) doing each other’s markup, laughing and having a good old time. I emailed customer service basically saying all that. Have received two emails letting me know they are very sorry for my experience and have forwarded my email in to their “teams” for further review. BTW, same exact email word for word both times. So I will NEVER step foot in an Ulta again.

I received an email asking me to come in for a free beauty product for my birthday. I went into the Ulta store and was told they were freshly out of the birthday products, but that they were re-stocking on Tuesday and I should come back then. Today is Tuesday, so I stopped in on my way home from work. The first thing out of the cashier’s mouth was, “We’re out of the birthday items. Our shipment comes in on Wednesday and we’ll be restocking then.” I responded that since they lied to me, I would never be back. I think it’s just a scam to get people to come into the store, thinking that they will shop. I’m done with Ulta.

I know that Ulta is the worst when it comes to shipping and the delays. I ordered something almost two weeks in advance for items. My updates for my package was HOURS after it happened. It has now been pushed back 4 days!! I live not even 5 minutes down to where it is now sitting but since Ulta didn’t update my package correctly, I couldn’t go get it, and since it’s a weekend it won’t be delivered on Sunday either. It’s unbelievable how they say it will be delivered but keep pushing it back. Update it was not even delivered and there are no more tracking updates

Please just do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else. Their costumer service is non existent. I honestly don’t know how their even still around. I guess it’s the overpriced products. I had issues years ago and stopped shopping with them. I received a gift card this month which I should’ve just thrown away but I didn’t. If you order online you either don’t receive the order or it takes weeks. If you buy in store the products just crap and over priced. The same products they have in store I now buy off of Amazon for literally half the price! If I ever receive another gift card (hopefully I don’t) It’s going in the trash. It’s just not worth it at all. They suck. Plain and simple. Buy your products somewhere else and save yourself the hassle and letdown.

DO NOT GET THE CREDIT CARD - I have been trying for four weeks to deal with a card issue and you cannot get a person on the phone at the cc business or the cc bank or ULTA. They do not provide customer service once you get the card. The MC is a joke -

I returned a few items trying to find my right new makeup.. employee's recommended certain things it didn't work for me.. my last return was foundation and powder manerager said no returns for me.. I've spent tons of money there.. I had my receipt. He was an up tight manager breaking the return policy.. guess he rules!.. this was in portland oregon at the cascades ulta.. don't go there ..bad service!!!..

I am a 70 year old woman and applied applied for a for a credit card about about 2 years ago. I ordered online, comma which at my age, is is very useful at each time paid the balance in full without Interest. I went to my nearest ulta on July 7th and Purchased Over a $100 of product And found out at that time my card had been closed. I had to explain that I did not have a balance and pd off the card and was told was told that when you do not use your credit card card more than 6 months they automatically close your account. I was never told that when I opened the count because it does go against your credit when an account is closed. I called Ulta corporate headquarters and also commnity bank To no Avail. This is the worst company to do business with.

Worst service and app ever. The stores are just getting worse all the time.
