I placed an order for pick up and when I went to pick up my order and notified the store I had arrived for my order I had to wait nearly a half hour because no one came out to deliver it. I finally had to call the store directly to ask them of someone was going to bring me my order. On my way home my order wasn't fully completed. I called the store and they told me they didn't see the item on the order receipt. I came home went on my computer and saw that they were going to send it via delivery. I had checked on each item that I would be picking my order up. So I called the employee I had spoken with what it said about being delivered, she told me that I would have to contact customer service because she couldn't do anything about it. So, I did that and then was told that they can't cancel the one item being delivered to my house because they only cancel orders after an hour of ordering. Never mind that I explained that I will be out of town and that the face oil would probably explode on my porch due to Arizona heat right now, she didn't care and was extremely rude! I again explained that we have very hot temperatures and that made no sense. I'm sorry you made me wait for my order and then refused to cancel my delivery that I didn't ask for! This is such b.s. Oh but she did say that when I get back I can return it to the store! WTH? Ulta after many years of being a faithful customer you can expect my account to be canceled. There are other stores with much better customer service!

If you did not receive what you wanted, good luck with "Customer Service, Unlike Amazon or even Walmart, their customer service representatives try to work with the customer to find a satisfactory conclusion. Not so with Ulta. My response was: "we are sorry for your inconvenience and disappointment BUT...! (we don't care.) Spend your money at Sephora. If they cannot flex to help find a solution, they don't need your money.

We asked about a military discount and they denied a military personnel the option to get the discount due to their laziness when online it says they have military discount and she has gotten it before numerous times.

While traveling to my daughters, I used Instacart to deliver a thermal round brush from Ulta. I have tried to return the item as it does not work for me. I traveled to the store, with the receipt provided from Instacart to my email. While at the store, I was told that my receipt did not have an order number. Over the next hour, I called both Instacart and Ulta to try and get it resolved. I received an order number from Instacart, but then Ulta explained that their system was down and they were unable to help me. The manager at the store promised to call me before end of day, and that call never came. She really did her best to try to help me and was unsuccessful as she did not have the support of the company. The customer service online said they would call me today and did not.I finally gave up and went back home. I called their customer service again today, their system is now up, but they said a special team would have to help me, and it could take three days. I am disabled, so traveling to the store and trying to resolve. This has been an incredible burden. I see all of the complaints and that their trust pilot score is a 1.7.

I paid for $13 expedited shipping on a $310 order which states 1-2 days in the website. The package went from California to Phoenix (where I live), and then was rerouted to Montana for some reason. I did not receive my package before I left my home on a trip. The package will now sit outside for 8 days and I am unable to use the products I bought for the trip. The environmental implications alone should be enough for them to be honest in the website and state it takes 5-8 days, even with the expedited shipping. I don’t understand why they needed the $14 they stole from me. I’ve spent thousands here in just one year. It’s hard to get a refund.

The Most despicable horrendous customer service. Gave me the run around over and over.Go to Sephora, forget Ulta.They have horrible customer service and their prices are extremely high. I have a gift card which, when I peeled the back.The pin number came off I wanted to replace it . But instead, they keep asking me questions, and yeah, sure, 48 hours, nothing has happened over a week.They are really horrible.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Mayfaire, North Carolina location. The customer service was poor from beginning to end. The cashiers and team members could definitely benefit from additional customer service training. The staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming. No one greeted me when I entered the store, and there was no “thank you” when I checked out. When I asked for assistance, I felt like I was inconveniencing the employees. One team member even walked away while I still needed help at a previous encounter. The cashier was rude and making faces and holding a whole conversation with another cashier while I was trying to make my purchases. I asked for recommendations on a facial cleanser and a moisturizer with sunscreen, but instead I was directed to foundation, which wasn’t what I asked for. It seemed like the employee either wasn’t knowledgeable about the products, had to repeat myself multiple times. Overall, the experience was frustrating and disappointing. I made a purchase and returned it back before I left the store. Because of the lack of customer service, I’ll be purchasing these products online from Amazon in the future instead of returning to this store.

I've had the VERY worst experience with Ulta this past week and still no resolution! I've not spoken with anyone but representatives over trying to get my bogo ILIA mascara ( mini) and MAC lipstick (mini) in wich they never got right. I took the items back to the store yesterday (Sunday) as the young women who eagerly pulled the wrong products off the table and checked me out. Now that the Bogo sale is over, they will NOT honor it now for me even though this was by no fault of mine and I have my receipt! They told me I could get 10% off🫩 THIS IS ONLY A SLIGHT DETAIL OF WHAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH TRYING TO GET TWO SMALL ITEMS. WHAT'S REALLY GOING ON.I TRIED ORDERING ONLINE AND THAT WENT TO CRAP BECAUSE OF NOT IN STOCK ONLY TO WAIT AND BE CHARGED 7 DOLLARS FOR SHIPPING WICH TOOK BOGO OUT THE DOOR.
