Walnut trees are not as advertised
Order English Walnut, Heartnut, and Butternuts 8 years ago. I have waited patiently for the nuts to start forming and dropping. Went out to check trees this evening. All the nuts are the same. Every single tree are black walnuts. Most of the trees survived to adulthood so that is a plus. However over $1000 wasted on trees species I did not want and that are considered invasive in my area. DO NOT BUY WALNUT TREES FROM THIS COMPANY. Update: Contacted with 24 hours by new owners. They were very respectful and responsive. I will add that the chestnut and pecan varieties that were also ordered at the same time are thriving and producing (chestnuts at least). Increased stars from 1 to 3 based on customer service. I still stand by my buyer beware of the walnut trees. It will take several years again to find out if these trees are correct varieties or not.

We regret the original mix-up with the walnut trees and are grateful that you allowed us the chance to make it right. We also appreciate your positive feedback regarding the chestnut and pecan trees.
