Both of my $500 mule palms came with all their new, longest growth broken just to be able to fit them into their shipping boxes. They look absolutely terrible. Fronds are now broken and browning. Not the treatment that you would expect for such expensive trees. I've sent several messages and have been 100% ignored by tyty nurseries. My review on their website of course was not published. Only 4-5* seem to be able to make it on. Not happy with this company. A big fat 0 for customer service.

We’re sorry to hear you’re disappointed and understand your concern, especially with a purchase of this size. We have reviewed the photos you sent, and the mule palms appear healthy, well-established, and very large specimens. During transit, it is not uncommon for some fronds to bend or break in order to safely fit and protect the overall plant in shipping. This type of damage is cosmetic and does not impact the health or long-term growth of the palm. We recommend simply pruning the affected fronds back to a clean cut. Mule palms are very fast growers, and new fronds will replace them quickly—within a short time, you won’t be able to tell any damage occurred. As outlined in our terms, while we guarantee the viability and health of the plant, minor cosmetic damage during shipping can occur and is not covered. Based on the images provided, your palms are healthy and should continue to thrive. We’re always here if you have any care questions and want to help ensure your palms continue to do well moving forward.
