Normally, we would ship a replacement. We do not have any more Dwarf Peppermint Crape Myrtles Trees at this time. I am going to go ahead and ship you a replacement. We’re sorry to hear about your frustration. We do want to clarify that our Plantsurance claim process is not a delay tactic. Per our policy, current season claims are processed after we stop shipping for the season so plants have adequate time in the ground to establish, leaf out, and show whether they are truly non-viable. We did receive your photos, and your claim had already been confirmed. However, in lieu of continuing through the Plantsurance store credit process, we are canceling the Plantsurance claim and issuing a refund check for both orders. Since these orders are older than 6 months and were paid through PayPal, we are unable to refund the original payment method directly. A refund check will be mailed instead.

We’re sorry to hear you were disappointed with your Pindo Palm. We do not begin processing current season Plantsurance claims for palms until July 1, 2026, which is why a claim decision had not been finalized yet. This waiting period allows the plant adequate time to establish and show whether it is still viable with consistent watering. That said, in lieu of continuing through the Plantsurance process, we went ahead and processed a full refund for you.

That is not accurate. We do not show pictures of the raspberry or blueberry plants as the item you should expect to receive. The product images show the fruit, berry color at maturity, and in some cases a close-up of leaves or ripe berries. They do not show a full plant suggesting that is what will arrive. In addition, our website includes the disclaimer: “Photo is of a mature specimen, not the item shipped.” I also reviewed the phone call. Your concern was mainly about the difference in how the plants were grown and shipped. Our representative explained that the raspberries are field-grown bare root plants that are kept dormant in coolers and pruned back for efficient storage and shipping. The blueberries are grown in containers, which is why they may have fruit or more visible growth when shipped. They have also been outside in South Georgia heat for the past two months, while the raspberries are intentionally kept dormant and have not had that same growing time. You purchased the 3-year size raspberry plants, which means they are old enough to produce this year. Once planted, watered consistently, and given time to establish, they should begin leafing out, flowering, and growing quickly during the season. We explain these details on our product pages and throughout our website so customers know what to expect before purchasing. Nothing was hidden or misrepresented, as suggested on the phone call.

Since you stated that you did not want to proceed through our Plantsurance guarantee process and were not interested in store credit, we have issued a refund for the White Oak tree that did not survive. A receipt has also been emailed to you for your records. We do want to clarify that our Plantsurance process is not a game. It is a structured policy designed to give plants adequate time to establish, and leaf out from transplanting before being declared non-viable. We begin accepting current season Plantsurance claims on June 1st for that reason. The process is simple: submit the Plantsurance form, provide photos when requested, and once the claim is verified, store credit is issued for the value of the plant. This policy is clearly explained on the Plantsurance page where claims are submitted. We understand that waiting can be frustrating, but this process exists because many customers are convinced their plants are "dead" early in the season, only to contact us later in June asking to cancel the claim because the plant began growing after more time, water, and establishment. Our goal is not to inconvenience customers, but to avoid premature claims and give plants a fair chance to establish.

We’re sorry you were not happy with your order. In the interest of customer satisfaction, we issued you a full refund today. That said, we do want to clarify that the plants were not decomposed as stated. Based on the photos provided, these appeared to be healthy Basjoo banana plants, and one of them even had pups coming off the plant, which is a sign of healthy and vigorous growth. We understand they may not have looked the way you expected after shipping, but they were not dead or decomposed. We appreciate your feedback and are sorry this order did not meet your expectations.

We’re sorry you feel this way, but this review leaves out several important facts that future customers should know. This order was for four 8–10 ft Yoshino Flowering Cherry Trees. On the product page, this size is clearly listed as “8–10 ft tall” with the note that “This Size May Be Pruned Up To 1/3 Prior to Ship.” This disclosure is shown before the item is added to the cart. The trees you received measured approximately 7 ft 9 inches, which is still well within the disclosed size range after pruning and far less than the maximum pruning amount stated on the website. The reason larger trees may be pruned before shipping is because UPS has size restrictions, and pruning helps protect the trees during transit while still allowing us to ship larger specimen trees directly to customers. You also had the option to pay extra for freight shipping and receive the trees in their pots without being boxed, but you selected the free UPS shipping option. When free UPS shipping is selected, larger trees must be prepared and boxed in a way that meets carrier requirements. Based on the photos provided, the trees appeared healthy and viable, not dead as stated in the review. They may look a little wilted, which is normal after shipping live trees, especially larger flowering cherries. Our planting instructions also explain to soak the roots in water upon arrival to help rehydrate the trees before planting. We always try to work with customers when there is a legitimate issue, but in this case, the photos and order details do not support the claims made in this review.
