Not impressed
My experience with them wasn't great. I asked about the "big *** blueberry plant". Obviously it's just a made up silly name and I wanted to know more about the variety. I asked them what the actually cross was and the filial generation since hybridization is how they would have created a new variety. They never even responded. I'm not terribly surprised. So, I couldn't take the company serious enough to do business with them. Making up silly names is not what botanists do. It's what people do when they're searching for internet clicks.

We understand the question and are happy to clarify. The “Big Ass Blueberry” name came from how customers described what they wanted when shopping with us. More often than not, customers would say they wanted a “big ass blueberry,” so we gave this selection a memorable name that reflects the large fruit size. This blueberry comes from the lineage of the Titan blueberry on the maternal side and was recommended to us by our blueberry propagator several years ago. It was an unreleased University of Georgia selection that was not given an official release name, but it produced very large berries similar to Titan. Since it was not going to be officially released under a variety name, we chose a name customers would remember. It is not meant to mislead anyone or replace botanical information. It is simply a practical name for a large-fruited blueberry selection that customers can easily recognize.
