The services offered by The Wellness…
The services offered by The Wellness Company (especially access to emergency med kits and access to competent, reasonable practitioners that are not bridled by insurance or politics) are a welcome relief! I have worked in health care for 35+ years, closely with doctors and NP's/PA's - the COVID and opiate epidemic experience brought to light many concerning trends that really robbed Americans of access to evidence-based, pro-patient, pro-wellness, affordable healthcare and patient informed choice, until The Wellness Co offered an alternative. We wouldn't consider ourselves preppers, but we do believe in proactive preparation, and have experienced the adverse outcomes associated with the obscene decision our government has made over the decades to outsource our critical drug and medical supplies to OUR ENEMIES, jeopardizing our national security and leading to OUTRAGEOUS medication and PPE shortages, among other things. I never thought I would see the day when urgent care providers would bring a laminated practice guideline into the patient room and defend their *inability* to prescribe antibiotics in circumstances where they would have been clearly indicated prior to these shortages because their employer forbids the provider to use their judgment unless certain absolute conditions are met (even if not meeting those conditions could be the result of something as stupid as poor specimen collection technique) because of these shortages. Giving albumin instead of IV fluids due to shortages - mixing drugs in albumin (!!!!) ... not having access to basic IV electrolytes used every day in cancer care and ICU/ER, post-op ... Concerning trends like discussing the pros/cons of certain medical interventions (like widespread prescribing of unproven vaccines and medicines for which firsthand knowledge on a large scale supported CAUTION due to adverse effects and unsupported claims of efficacy, and outright preventing [through threats, intimidation, and refusing to prescribe] access to data-driven alternatives) with providers who used to be able to have rationale debates but suddenly were regurgitating propaganda and indoctrination instead ... Access to common sense practitioners that are permitted to practice according to their training and experience (and apparently have access to drugs/supplies) and basic health care services/drugs have become a rare commodity! Thank you for making these things accessible again!!
