Good luck signing up, possible discrimination
My family uses TVG without issue however signing up has been a nightmare for me. They've requested photos of my ID, of my face, copies of my lease, voter registration cards, you name it... and during all this back and forth they have the audacity to argue with me about whether my name is on my own lease? Do I need to FaceTime them a tour of my apartment? Incredible. I have yet to even open my account still. UPDATE: Even though I supplied the documents requested, I was denied supposedly because my lease ends in the future. I told the agent on the phone that I was moving when my lease ended... in the future.. but they didn't like that answer. When you sign up I suppose my advice is to know where you will be living in the future. ALSO, I suggest not sending your voter registration when they request it because it shows your political affiliation and after I sent mine they called me to speak to me, then denied me. I can't help but wonder is they are possibly discriminating against me because of my political affiliations. Can't be sure, but it sure is an odd coincidence.

Hi Derek, We are required by federal law to verify you are a legal resident of a wagering state and of a legal age to wager. You may have failed the initial verification for various reasons, such as a recent move, name change, or typos in your attempt to sign up. If we are unable to initially verify your identity we can verify you manually by having you send in a copy of your state issued ID and a picture of you holding the ID, or certain proof of residence documents, such as a copies of bills or a lease where you live. In order for us to accept those proof of residence documents however, you must be listed on them. We are not able to bypass federal guidelines for verification. We apologize for the inconvenience. Update: A representative reached out to you by phone to assist you with verifying your account. Unfortunately since you stated in that call that you are no longer living at the location that the lease is for we cannot accept it as proof of residence. Once you have an updated ID or other proof of residence for your new address we will be happy to open your account.
