The battery failed after four months, and the company refused to replace it. They blamed it on the throttle, and said it was wear and tear, despite it being an issue with the battery. Do NOT buy from this company as they do not honor their warranty.

Beware of Battery Life!
I purchased two Turboant X7 scooters and was happy with the performance. However, the battery on one scooter failed after 6 weeks. Turboant customer support replaced the battery for no charge with a new one, so no complaints at this point. I then used the scooters for 4 more months a few hours a week, then stored them for 5 months for the Winter exactly as specified in the owner's manual. In the Spring, another battery failed. This time, Turboant informed me the battery was now out of warranty and I would have to purchase a new battery for $170. After further pressing customer support on the expected battery life, they informed me that their battery life was only a year, so the failure was not unexpected. I would have been okay buying the battery for a reduced rate, but they only offered a $10 discount. I'm not willing to spend $170 per year for a scooter, so I'm forced to switch to a scooter with a better average battery life. Buyer beware!

Buyer Be Ware - Potential Faulty Battery
Bought the scooter almost a year ago on sale. The scooter was fantastic when it was working. Battery died within 6 months of light use. I primarily used it to ride along my 6 and 10 year-olds on bikes. I tried my best to take care of the battery by charging half hour after the ride, not to fully charge the battery, not to completely drain the battery. I weigh 120 pounds.
Battery warranty is only covered for half year, which is about the time mine died.
My husband bought a Go-Trax at the same time as me and is still working. He actually used the scooter more than me and I take care of the batteries the same way.
Part of me felt that the scooter battery was a bit off from the time I received it because of the little weird things that happened.
Buyer be ware.
4/21/2023 update - Thank you for contacting me via emails Turbo Ant. Your customer reps were very professional and courteous. And thank you for offering a $15 discount on the battery. I have declined because I do not wish to buy a battery that potentially only last half year, as the first one did.

Multiple Broken Scooters and No Support from TurboAnt
I would not spend money on any of these scooters. I bought two X7 max's, one came with a broken screen that they sent to me to fix and after I unscrewed the screen the wires were cut. They told me I needed to send it back at my own cost and if it is damaged during shipping it's on me. The tire also popped after 1 use even after making sure it was properly inflated. The second scooter the brake and throttle broke after a couple of uses. Again they would only send me the parts so I had to fix them on my own. I got into an accident on the scooter as well because the brakes gave out. Support has been nothing but difficult to work with. They reply with the same thing every time with no real instruction or help. I spent over $1000 on these to use to work and have yet to actually be able to use them (costing extra $ in transportation) because both have broken with light use and TurboAnt refuses to answer any emails now to help resolve the matter.

Be Aware of Refund Scamming
Be aware that if you have to return the item, they make it very difficult. I returned the item on 2/02/2023 and I haven't heard from them for weeks and still haven't received my refund of $499. I keep emailing them and finally got a response yesterday. I was told they refunded me $314.98 on 2/28. I reached out to my bank and they stated no refund is pending. On the TurboAnt site, they state that returns due to defect, will be refunded 100% and all other returns will be charged a 25% "restocking" fee. Well my scooter came with massive scratches. Not only did they go against their policy and not refunding my 100% but they are state they are keeping 40% of my money not 25% that they state on their site. I would not buy anything from them because if your item comes damaged, you will wait months to hear back and then have to deal with the stress of begging for your money, all your money back.
Update #1:
They sent me a response and it is completely filled with lies. Its unbelievable how obvious it is that they are trying to brainwash me into thinking I dont understand their policy. Its crazy how they are lying about the guaranteed 100% refund for defects. In the same email they first said that the scooter probably wasnt secured correctly and was loose so the defect must have been caused by the shippers which means its not a defect and then the next sentence they acknowledged the defect and said their site specifically states that if there is a defect during shipping, they dont have to refund the customer.. This is NOT true and probably not even legal. They went on to say that they are going to do something "special" for me and I am to send them $60 and then they will add more money to my refund.. Best of all, I still havent received a refund as per my bank. This is over a month.
Update #2:
I wanted to follow through with my review. I just received my statement and see that they have refunded me my the entire amount of the returned item.

I’m devastated and mad
I’m devastated. I bought 2 7XMax e scooters for my boys this Christmas but both packages came damaged. I called customer service and then instructed me to open the box and see if they were damaged. I told them of the e scooters were in good condition that I would gladly keep them but when I opened them they were damaged. There were scratches, holes on the box, chipped areas on my scooters. I’ve emailed them with pictures but haven’t heard back from them. I want my refund because this costed me $1000, they are unprofessional and bad customer service.

System interface issues may send your packages elsewhere with no hope of resolution.
I bought a scooter for my husband for Christmas from this company and my experience has been both nerve-wracking and disheartening to say the least.
I bought the Turboant V-8 online through the company website. I filled out the order form as simple as pie, keyed in my current house address, carefully reviewed my information to make sure it was correct and payed with ApplePay. The system said my order was in and that I would receive a confirmation email to be sure the process was successful. I checked to see that the email had arrived. I waited for the order to show up.
Except for one unknown piece of information: the API this company uses doesn’t interface with Apple Pay smoothly. There are numerous people getting their packages delivered to old addresses because of some rare glitch in the system operation between them.
I keyed in my new address and because of this glitch in the information interface my scooter was sent to my old address where within 24 hours of my tracking it down the package was stolen.
The company blamed this problem on ME. Stating that I should have checked and read the confirmation e-mail in order to catch the error their system caused. While true, fastidious checking may have caught an error I was certainly not expecting that my address would magically be changed after I had carefully reviewed and submitted it in the ordering process! I order online frequently, as many of us do, have lived here for years now and am quite diligent about seeing to it that my order is correct before hitting send. In my experience what you type stays sovereign!
Now the package is gone—stolen—after their system changed the address and delivered it to the wrong house—and Turboant has seemingly washed their hands of the whole affair with no help with resolution.
The company said they would get back to me yet I have heard nothing.
They will not help you if you run into trouble. I submitted MY correct address and money in good faith and because of some system error in interfaces on their end I’m left holding the bag. The company is quite aware of their ApplePay interface trouble yet leave no warning to this affect to alert you so that you can beware. I use ApplePay frequently on other sites and my packages reach me with no problem…
I never thought I would say this but—go through Amazon. They at least recognize that when a package disappears through some error in the delivery process caused by the company, resolution is necessary.
Lesson learned.
****UPDATE****
The company did follow up and try to compensate us without admitting fault. They did try to do something, which is better than nothing.

Horrible quality and zero customer service
Horrible quality and zero customer service!
On August 15th of this year, I purchased a TurboAnt V8 through their website. The unit was delivered on August 19th. On August 27th, the scooter was damaged in an incident that can only be due to a defect in manufacturing or workmanship as explained below.
A call to a service representative on August 30th resulted in the rep reufisng to believe what had happened and only after my insistence did he relent to sending a message to the support department, with a promise that I would receive an email from them in a few days. No such email has ever arrived.
I was additionally advised they would want to see photos of the damage to the unit, which I prepared along with a demonstration video of the current condition of the unit and sent to their service department email.
After not hearing from support, I posted the circumstances along with the video to the review section of the TurboAnt website, which sill resulted in no response or acknowledgement whatsoever. The text of the review is below.
--- We have been very disappointed in the quality of the TurboAnt V8 we recently purchased. While it initially seemed sturdy, the unit has been unusable after one very minor incident that should have been well within the unit's ability to withstand, especially one meant for adult transportation rather than a toy.
While demonstrating the unit less than two weeks after purchase, it was driven off an asphalt surface into a grassy area that was level with the asphalt. However, the grassy areas was softer than anticipated. The difference in surfaces caused me to lose control and I jumped off the unit, allowing it to fall over on its side. While this should have been easily within the tolerance of the V8, the front wheel is bent, the tube in the tire is flat, and it will not reach a speed beyond six miles per hour even when the wheel is elevated off the ground.
A call to TurboAnt connected me to a customer service rep who initially tried to blame us for the damage, implying that what I advised him could not possibly have happened, then relented and stated he was sending a message to the appropriate department to discuss repair or replacement options. More than two weeks later (now longer than the time we had a functional unit) I had yet to hear from anyone. Nearly three months later, still no contact whatsoever.
We even went so far as to take the V8 to a local scooter repair shop. After examining the unit, (another $50), we were tild that the wiring on the V8 was so unusual that the technician refused to try repairing the unit, stating he was afraid he might damage the unit further. This development makes a complete lie of TurboAnt's statements on their webiste about the ease of service and repair of their products.
In short, the TurboAnt V8 appears to be a poorly made unit with nearly non-existent customer service and it looks as we have thrown away $650. ---
