Purchased a Tumi bag in Dec 2023 (with 5 year warranty), used a few times a year, under very normal / regular travel situations. The mesh of the bag split open in Sept 2026, and customer service is saying the bag is un-repairable, and offering 50% discount on next purchase. Will not buy Tumi suitcase again!

5/5 Stars - Liza at TUMI Riverside Is a Total Lifesaver! I recently came back from my semi-annual vacation to Tunisia and was absolutely devastated to find my favorite TUMI travel luggage damaged. I love the TUMI brand for its durability, so I immediately went to the TUMI Store at The Shops at Riverside in Hackensack, NJ, fully expecting that they would have to mail my suitcase out to their central repair facility for weeks. Instead, I was greeted by an incredible young sales lady named Liza. She took one look at it and confidently told me she could handle the repair right there on-site. I'll admit I was a bit skeptical at first, but Liza completely proved me wrong. She went to work and fixed it perfectly right then and there! Liza is the absolute definition of what a perfect TUMI employee should be—knowledgeable, efficient, and genuinely helpful. She saved me a massive headache and an expensive, lengthy shipping process. TUMI, you did a fantastic job hiring her, and she absolutely deserves a promotion. She is a true keeper! Hooray for TUMI and thank you, Liza!

Tried to reach out to customer service for a delayed order which was meant for as a birthday gift but chat feature doesn't connect to agent and doesn't even let you submit an offline ticket for follow-up. Very poor customer service & no explanation of delivery delays. Very disappointed considering the premium brand TUMI considers itself

I’ve had a carry-on for some 10 years. We love the bag. The handle broke for no apparent reason other than age. We contacted Tumi, and they said they no longer make any parts for our model. They gave me an option to mail it at my cost to the customer service area and they would offer me a $200 credit. Basically a deck chair off the Queen Mary if you know how expensive these items are! I looked for a replacement, and found one on Amazon for $9 dollars. I would recommend Samsonite. A better quality, at significantly less money, and they somehow make the parts for their products. Overpriced name in my opinion.

Do NOT BUY!!! Big overpriced scam. I have owned many Tumi pieces over the years, but settled on using one for frequent travel. I've had that bag for about two decades. Well, the zipper went off track. So, I took it to the Tumi store and they sat on it for over a month. Finally, an email saying - surprise surprise, we can't fix it, please buy another bag. They offered a whopping $110 credit - big friggin deal, since their bags range fro a low of 600-plus, to THOUSANDS of dollars. Jeez, it's figgin ZIPPER!!!! I can probably fix it myself. So I raised the roof and told them to give me back my bag! I will NEVER purchase another one of these overpriced, poor quality POS bags ever again. The old ones were good - my broken zipper lasted 20-plus years. But you're telling me that a bag company can't replace a ZIPPER?!? Big scam. STAY AWAY!!!!!

I have used my Alpha suitcase (XL) a total of 3 times. I bought it in Fort Worth Texas in Feb this year. After two uses the bag has a mind of it's own and just wants to spin around in circles while you try to wheel it forward on all 4 wheels. It's a $2500 bag and now I have to find a box or wrap it in bubble wrap and send it to Victoria for a service. What the? it's not even 12 months old! At that price range I would've thought it would be pretty bombproof. As other reviews mentioned the inshore experience was fantastic but thats the end of it!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

Ex VAT price in Switzerland is 30% more than their ex VAT price in Europe. Rip-off Tumi.

Horrible customer service, I had questions about return policy and other points, i was on hold for 40 min and decided to hang up. Can't believe such an ovely priced brand Can't afford customer service agents. I'm taking my business elsewhere, its not worth it!
