Thank you for your feedback! We understand that this initial processing timeline can be difficult for some customers, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. I am happy to share that as we develop a history with your bank account, we are typically able to fully process transfers within one business day. Even though we are not able to fully process a $2,000 transfer within one business day for a new customer, we attempt when possible to make a portion of the funds available to you for next business day use to reduce any inconvenience for your cardholder ($250 in the case you described). If your cardholder is ever in need of funds sooner, please reach out to let us know to see if there’s anything we can do to help!

Thank you for sharing your feedback, Steve. When our newer customers request their initial transfers, the funds are not made available until the transfer fully clears the bank transfer process on the fifth business day as a security precaution. This is a temporary precaution as we develop a relationship with the funding bank. I am happy to share that moving forward, you can expect to receive funds beginning the business day after you initiate a transfer. If your Cardholder is ever in need of funds even sooner due to an emergency, please reach out to let us know, and we will see what we can do to help!

Thanks for reaching out! When our newer customers request their first transfers, as a security precaution, the funds are sometimes not made available until the transfer fully clears the bank transfer process on the fifth business day. This is usually a temporary precaution as we develop a relationship with your bank, and then many customers can receive their funds by the next business day after they initiate a transfer. If your Cardholder is ever in need of funds sooner on an emergency basis, please let us know and we will see what we can do to help! Additionally, I am happy to share that Cardholders can check their balance using any of the following ways, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We recommend sharing the following steps with your Cardholder, and hope this helps! 1. Phone call: You can check your balance anytime using True Link’s phone system. Simply call 1-800-299-7646. You can also hear recent transactions or request to speak to a representative. 2. Online: Visit https://member.truelinkfinancial.com/sign-in and click the "Login" button in the top right corner. Then click the link that says "Cardholder log in." Provide the last 4 digits of your Social Security number, your date of birth, and the last 4 digits of your True Link Card number. You will then be able to see your balance, monthly statements, and recent transactions. 3. Text message: As long as True Link has your mobile number on file, it is very easy to check your balance from your phone. (standard text message rates may apply). Send the word "balance" to 1-800-299-7646. If you receive an error message, please call our Customer Support team at 1-800-299-7646 to make sure your number is on file.
