Feel very let down and mislead by Travel Compendium
We were so excited to book this trip to see Abba Voyage, staying two nights in London. But what a mess, the package was not as it seemed. We booked the two night stay, knowing that the Abba show would be on one night of our trip. Booking confirmation then told us that the detail over what night would be confirmed the week before our trip. Anyway we duly booked our train tickets, down on Tuesday and back on Thursday, for our Tues/Weds, hotel stay. West Coast main line from up North so not cheap train tickets. You will understand our upset that we were then told our ABBA tickets were for the Thursday night - the day after our hotel stay and after our journey home. We explained this to Travel Compendium but were told “the small print says we can do this”. What a load of rubbish, the show has to be on one of the nights staying in the hotel or why take the booking. Our train tickets were non-refundable but amendable at a price - cost us over £200 to amend them because we had to change to Weds/Thurs so that ABBA was on the night of a hotel stay. Travel Compendium refused to compensate us, offered room upgrade, which we don’t think happened, plus voucher for free fish and chips - hardly £200 worth. Just a very bad experience so would not recommend Travel Compendium in any aspect
