Never received the tent. Absolutely worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Update 4 - The tent is mounted on the truck and opened up. It is a seriously nice tent. Heavy duty nylon, well made fittings, easy to set up. I will need a step ladder for my F350, but I expected that! It's over 8 feet high! The built in ladder is long enough to get in and out, with some to spare. I highly recommend this tent. Even if it might take a long time to get, it is worth the wait. Thank you torro off road! Update 3 - The tent arrived on 7-7-2020. I have not unpacked it yet. The fact that it finally arrived allays a lot of the scam concerns I was having, which largely explain my initial two star review. In this day and age, it is tough to know who you are dealing with. So my update is that the updates from torro were not a clever ruse. They were responsive most of the time and it seems like they tried pretty hard to keep their customers happy. Upgrading to three stars, reserving the final two until after I've looked at the tent. UPDATE 2: The rtt arrived today! We are very glad about this! I will update my review once I open it up and get a look. UPDATE 1: Supposedly, UPS now has my package and it's said to be delivered tomorrow. I look forward to providing an update with my review including the actual product. Original Post: I ordered my item on February 2, 2020, was told I'd receive it by the end of March. Now all of the COVID business came up, so some delays are expected. That said, it is now July 5 and I still don't have it, no one knows where it is, or when I will receive it. The company is kind of responsive sometimes, but also not really able to help. They say they picked a bad shipper, then gave me their contact info so I can nag them. The whole thing has been exceedingly frustrating. I want to like this company, I really do, but this got ridiculous a month ago.

I really hate to do this, but I have to. We ordered our car top tent in February. It is now July and still no word on if/when we might get our tent. Communication has been spotty at best with no real understanding of why we don’t have this tent yet. Torro talked about quality coming out of the factory not being up to par so they sent them back to be fixed. This is great, but is something that should have been dealt with long before going public. Torro is now pointing fingers at the shipping company for all other delays, but really that company was Torro’s choice. We had gotten a YouTube video message a few weeks back talking about updates on shipping etc , but that got taken down when people started to post about their concerns about the legitimacy of this company and likelihood of ever seeing their purchase . Honestly I thought that was a brilliant PR move. Let people complain in a public post that was not really public. They mentioned in their video post that they had made a mistake, and will in the future work with a more mature shipping company. I would recommend following this same advice and go with a more mature company for your order. I am at the point of this review truly wondering if I will see this tent.

Quality made tent! Very versatile with the insulation kit as far as comfortable temperature range (warm in the winter) and seems very breathable for warmer weather. Customer service is great with quick responses and answers for questions asked. Only drawback I have had is the limited space for space for gear though I can fit my large 2 person sleeping bag and an extra blanket inside with it still completely closing.
