I chose Trademark Express after checking some similar services and they helped us register our first trademark. Their team immediately responded our every question and saved us a lot while we initially considered hiring an attorney. Highly recommended!

We Highly Recommend Trademark Express and Urgent Trademark
Chris and the team are very thorough and responsive. We've used other services in the past that were frustrating, more expensive, and got us nowhere. TradeMark Express and Urgent Trademark staff really had our best interests at heart and we highly recommend them. Our business means a lot to us and we've since entrusted other trademarking searches and filings to the team.

Terrible Experience with the Owner - my TM application expired and lost my money
Negative 5 stars would be too nice. I made the mistake of not reading previous Yelp reviews before contracting Trademark Express (TME). We started a Trademark application process in March 2017. In January 2018, after periods of many months where they did not return my emails, our application officially expired due to inaction by TME and I have nothing to show for my money.
In March 2017, we had agreed on how to submit the application, but TME made a mistake and submitted an incorrect application that included both a name and a logo, where I only wanted the name (right hand not talking to the left hand about the path forward). The USPTO told us what to do to to fix it, which required resubmitting the Trademark application (requiring a new $275 application fee). I tried for the next 6 months through numerous emails to get TME to simply resubmit the application correctly as instructed by the USPTO. But TME refused to incur the cost of the new submittal and tried to convince me to pay $275 insinuating I wanted both the logo and the name anyway. That was clearly not the case as I stated to them in a memo dated 3/30/17.
What was most disturbing and unprofessional was that, as clear as I could state my case, and using their own emails where they admitted that it was their mistake, the owner Chris DeMassa kept redirecting me towards a second application and asking me to pay an additional $275 filing fee. He thought that by simply repeating his (irrational) position in responding to my emails that I would eventually give in. I own a nuclear tech support prime contractor, am a former nuclear submarine officer in the US Navy and a former Regulator with the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and have an excellent command of the English language. I am simply baffled by the lack of understanding, the irrational position, the unprofessional conduct and the refusal to act after they admitted in writing that TME made a mistake. This owner does not understand the meaning of customer service.
I hope that the $275 that TME refused to absorb for the new application was worth the price of this negative review. I have asked for a refund but that was wishful thinking. I have since filed a "Consumer Complaint Against a Business" with the California Attorney General's office.
Bottom line: I would strongly advise everyone reading this review to find other, more professional trademark application support companies, as this and other negative reviews clearly state.
Response from TradeMark Express & Urgent TrademarkMay 21, 2018
Hi Rob,
We understand your concern, throughout the whole process we have tried to assist you and offer you the best advice as to how to keep and maintain your trademark regardless of the logo filing. You received an Office Action on July 7th, 2017, the due date was January 7th, 2018, the office action required a simple disclaimer, clarification of the drawing and of the color. In responding to the Office Action we advised you as to how to approach the examining attorney, also advised informing the examining attorney that you would only like to keep the name. She did not accept the change stating “an additional application must be filed”. Instead you let the mark lapse and a formal response to the office action was never filed. When dealing with your file we did kind of work backwards as we filed the logo before we filed the name. It is recommended that big companies have one trademark for the logo and one trademark for the name as it makes your brand stronger and you are able to advertise with them both together and apart while ensuring your full rights. At some point you mentioned interest in trademarking the logo which is why we recommended letting this trademark go to registration then refiling the name mark alone, which we would cover all the fees except the USPTO filing fees of $275 considering it is not our fee and it is unethical if we pay on your behalf. We apologize for the communications issue that happened as our primary goal is to have successful trademarks filed for our clients. Communications with you after December was a challenge as you would not want to talk to us after not agreeing what we recommend. Regardless of the dilemma Trademark Express has continuously wanted to help you. As for refunding the $400 we have a rollover policy, we do not do refunds. All of the $400 have been exhausted as we completed the full preliminary, Federal and State, common law, attorney consultations and analysis along with filing on your behalf. We completed all of the work to ensure your trademark is legally clear which in fact it is. We would be willing to help you and re-file this trademark at no cost, like stated previously we do not cover filing fees as it is not our fee. If you would like our assistance in re-filing the trademark we would be more than willing and happy to assist you get this done, on top of this we would monitor your trademark for a full year after filing and if you receive any minor notifications from the USPTO we would respond to them at no cost.

Easy to get a hold of
Easy to get a hold of. Good data. Fair price. Lots of content in an email rather than attachment and not much explanation on their recommended step by step process of what to do with the info.
