Thanks Nancy for submitting this review. The New York Department of Motor Vehicles requirements set the course length requirement of 6 hours. The benefit of taking the course online is that you can log in and out as needed so you don't have to do all 6 hours in one sitting or at a particular day or time. The timers that are in the course are required to make sure that the 6 hours are spent in the course and are set based on a formula from the DMV as well. All licensed providers in the State of New York have the same requirements. Thank you for choosing TicketSchool.com!

Thank you Myles for taking the time to submit this review. I am sorry that you feel that completing the course wasn't helpful. To be clear, taking a BDIC course in Michigan does not remove or dismiss a ticket from your record. We don't make that claim. To quote from the MI SOS website..."Passing a BDIC permits drivers with an opportunity to avoid points on their records and the ticket information from being sent to insurance companies. The driver must be eligible to take the course and may only avoid points once under this program.". We reported your completion to the MI Secretary of State as required so the points from your ticket should not be on your record. Regarding your insurance still going up, I would encourage you to reach out to your insurance company to determine if the one ticket you received that you took our course for was the reason for the rate increase solely, and if so, contact the MI SOS to find out how since taking BDIC is supposed to prevent them from being notified.

Hello Eldon. I am sorry to hear that you didn't receive all the benefits from taking the course that you expected. As you can suspect, everyone's driving record and situation is different so it is hard for us to comment since we are not the DMV. However I looked at your account and see that you entered a non-NY drivers license when you registered for the course in June, which prevents us from reporting the completion. The NY DMV only accepts reported completions for New York licensed drivers for the point reduction benefit. You called us in August to provide a temporary NY DL and we reported your completion at that time. If the points from the Insufficient Turn ticket were already applied prior to the DL correction in August that is likely why you received the assessment, but ultimately any questions about your driving record and the points / assessments levied should be asked to the DMV. I will forward your review to management and somebody will give you a call to discuss this further.

I am very sorry to hear that you had this issue. While rare, unfortunately a technical glitch can occur while interfacing with the FL DHSMV system to retrieve questions and submit the answers for conducting an online exam. We do offer a refund for any paid attempt that has any problems, so I am glad that you have already requested and received those. Again, our apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Thanks for your review. I am sorry to hear that you were unsatisfied. I am not sure what you mean when you say that you had to pay more to watch videos. The videos are included in the cost of the course. We do not have any course where videos are optional or require an additional fee. Sorry for any confusion.
