I just started to use Thunderdrive.io So far everything's good, user interface is almost identical to google drive. I have some questions for Thunderdrive support: 1. Is there any possibility to add family / friends to have read/write access to the folders? When I try to add someone to a folder using Right click - manage people I get an error saying that "user with email xyxyxy @gmail.com does not exist. And when trying to create a new user they have to chose a subscription plan which costs money... 2. I can only log in using my credentials using this site: app.thunderdrive.io/ login . When trying to go to login page from thunderdrive.io it sends me to thunderdrive.eu login page where I get a error saying that "credentials do now match our records".

I have used Thunder Drive service for around 4 weeks. I have been very happy with this, provider and their support team. The team has been very responsive to my requests and questions, and I definitely feel like a valued customer. I highly recommend Thunder Drive to several of my colleague. Keep up the great work, and looking forward to additional updates.

Will you make the file limit bigger than 5GB. 10 will be nice. Please let me know

1. They advertise having a 30 day refund. When you ask for it, they refuse to refund, coming up with excuses. Forget about ever getting your money back, trust me - I tried. 2. In a YouTube interview they claim being 6 x faster than Amazon S3. In reality they're 2 times slower. Another lie. 3. The software they use is not their own. It's a $39 script named BeDrive that they installed on some servers of theirs. Trust this company at your own peril. All they care about is your money, so I wouldn't count on your files being safe in their hands. For me this is the worst purchase ever. Companies that break people's trust like this make the internet a worse place for everyone that actually does legit business. 𝗘𝗱𝗶𝘁, 𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲'𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗹𝘆, 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀: 1. I did not immediately open up a Paypal claim. I requested a refund first upon which they replied "it's added to the queue to be processed". 24 hours later I still hadn't received my refund, and because I saw many other people on Facebook commenting that ThunderDrive was not refunding them either I opened up a Paypal claim, as it was obvious that ThunderDrive was trying not to refund people. 2. In the YouTube video "ThunderDrive Interview" you can hear their claim of being 6 times faster than Amazon. The reality is that their speed is half of that... ThunderDrive says that's in accurate. I advise you to try out for yourself to find out the truth. Just know you can only do that after you purchase, so good luck getting a refund after that. My test results showed half the speed. 3. About ThunderDrive being the $39 script named BeDrive: ThunderDrive also claims this is inaccurate. They just keep lying... Here's a quote from a detailed Facebook post on this very topic: "Their layout is... 100% same as BeDrive 😱. Look at my image below. 100% the same, even some small things." We debugged the source code and found it same technologies as BeDrive (using Laravel & Angular)."

Here are my suggestions to make your site super user friendly 1. Checkbox to mark selected files 2. Upload button should be visible at all time. 3. SHIFT+DOWN ARROW KEY should be able to multi select files. 4. Let me know if you need more suggestions, i have alot.. By the way chrome in mobile phone crashes when 3000 or more (photo) files is selected.

There are some issues when uploading a bunch of files all together, but nothing that can't be fixed in the future. For the price I find it quite useful. A way to externally manage the storage would be good to avoid errors. WebDav, FTP or API access would be perfect. Update: 2021 Don't even think about it. I thought they would improve, but this is just a money grab, nothing was improved or fixed. And will never be. Nothing works, the files are there sometimes, but can't be downloaded. They didn't even bother to update their bedrive script.

I had been intending to subscribe to a cloud service for quite awhile when I saw the offer for a lifetime subscription at an amazing one-time price with Thunder Drive — and I jumped on it! Upon redeeming my offer, I was extended an invitation to double my storage space for what I felt was a fair price - but I wasn’t able to finalize the transaction. I reached out to their customer service and got a quick reply with a link to complete the purchase. Excellent customer service work by both Ashley and Amanda. I’m really pleased with my purchase and the customer service!! Edit: After reading other reviews I felt like it was only fair to add that I have had zero problems with uploads or downloads.

I'll give it four stars for now. Some reviews are a little concerning but it appears they are responsive and striving to address those and improve. My 4TB deal only showed as 2TB on my dashboard, but as soon as I mentioned it in the chat bot, I got an email within 15 minutes stating they updated the account. I verified it's now 4TB. So far, upload speeds don't seem to be an issue.
