Amazing price ($29/500Gb, $59/2Tb lifetime), but there is one big issue. There is one huge problem that needs to be fixed ASAP: *Huge delay before a large file download begins.* If you want to download a 1Gb+ file back, good luck. You need to wait for a few minutes (!) before it starts. After that the speed is fine, but such a long delay is unacceptable. You can see that other reviewers pointed out the same issue, so it's clearly a problem on their side. The company needs to pause working on iOS/Android and whatever apps and fix the fundamental problem in their service. Then clients will come. There are also smaller issues which I hope will be fixed as the product matures: - Can't check the number of files in an uploaded folder. You will have to count manually. - Videos preview is not working. - Can't select multiple files. - Need to display folder size (in Gb) on the right sidebar. I checked file integrity multiple times. I uploaded a large (2-5 Gb) file and downloaded it back. The file comes the same. So that's good. Overall, great potential, but needs work, mainly fixing the big issue.

We work with video and recently purchased 10t of storage at what seemed like a great price... We are YouTubers and I was very excited to share this with our following, until I used it and feel like I need to warn people. Once uploaded, clips will not preview. There is an EXTREME delay for clips to download from ThunderDrive, to the point of just not working. Don’t waste your time trying to download folders of clips. Aside from feeling ripped off, three attempts of reaching customer service have failed to get a reply. They need to be honest if their platform is not capable of handling large video files. I believe the files are on there, but getting the back is impossible. Update: They finally responded, but will not address the problem of getting files off of their storage platform. I could care less about the preview, I just want to transfer and retrieve files in a timely manner. I think their platform is sub par and their boss will not allow them to admit it!

They scammed me just for few bucks.. bought there basic 2 tb package. they offered me another 2 tb for few bucks.. just jumped into that.. after checking i realized that there product isn't yet ready for the market with slow service and lack of features.. asked for refund and then from that date.. they aren't giving me any response.

The price for storage is very good. The cloud storage is correct but they need to update their roadmap! We are waiting for Android as indicated on their roadmap but the app is not here as announced! Wait and see for future updates.

Update: Based on the reply I wish I could lower my rating to under 1 star. I complain about the whole service and the reply is the apps are days away? No point if the service doesnt work. Bought the lifetime membership and I cant upload a single file over a few KB. There is no android or IOS app, No file uploading app for the computer and every time I try to upload large files..It says an hour, then it starts increasing till it gets stuck and fails. I cant even find contact details to ask support for help.

The only good thing is the pricing! Functionality is sub-par. Some examples: - Can't check the size of or the number of files in an uploaded folder. You will have to count manually. - You can't upload a folder- Thunderdrive will never upload all the files in a folder {your manual tally will tell you that ;) }. For multiple folders, you will have to create folders in Thunderdrive first, and then drag and drop files separately in each! - When uploading, 1,2,3,4 may be uploaded 4 first, then 2 then 3 then 1. If interrupted, you will have to manually tally to resume (horrible if you're migrating GBs of data) - Most uploaded photos will be "unrotated". - Search option for a file does not work. - You can't change the sorting method- Thunderdrive keeps reverting to "Last Modified" even though I want my files and folders sorted alphabetically. - Customer service will ask you to suck it up. If a price is too good to be true, it probably is.

Absolutely nothing is working well with ThunderDrive.io I cannot trust ThunderDrive.io The payment-process doesnt work. The download-process doesnt work well. Now I have to worry that even getting back the data does not work. But what sense does Thunderdrive.io make? Their system gave me the chance to buy an extra-2-TB, but my PayPal wasnt accepted (paying 1 minute before for stacksocial was working well). But even their main-business (backup-cloud) does not seem to work. Perhaps the same like with the payment-process…? I moved a folder with a lot of data to ThunderDrive. To check, if it is fast. It had an amount of 10 GB. The level indicator of each data is full (seams to be finished after 1hr 20 min).But more than the half of that had a red dot with exclamation mark. So it doesnt work. I noticed, that only a very few data arrived ThunderDrive. Even PDF and MP4-files were only sometimes be moved. I checked the same with my two other cloud-accounts. Both worked with no problem. I had never such an absolutely catastrophic user experience with an online-backup-space. Now there is absolutely no trust in ThunderDrive. Using ThunderDrive seems to be only wasting time.

This is a good place to upload smaller files. I tried to upload 600mb file for last 10 days and up to 20% uploads (the initial time it shows < 10 mins) very fast and after that, it shows estimated time as 1hr and gets stuck there forever. I don't know when we get the app or way to upload if it breaks in between.
