i bought into the lifetime plan 2 years ago. I uploaded a lot of pictures and have not signed the account for a few months. Low and behold, when I tried to sign in last week, i couldn't get in after a few tries. Eventually I got in BUT there is nothing in my account. Sent an email last week. No response. Sent another one now. I will see if they respond. An update - After sending email yesterday, i now see my contents back to the account though i have not received a response yet. I will change the rating to 3 as the service is stil using a browser and no app's been released as per their roadmap a few years ago.

All my files are gone. After I log in, there is a message at the bottom that says, "Whoops something went wrong." Chat is live but says it will be hours before they respond. I should have read the reviews before I purchased. I had already uploaded several hundred GBs. (You get what you pay for) UPDATE: Thunderdrive got back to me same day and wrote "This has been resolved." with no other information. I'm increasing my stars from 1 to 3 because of this. However, without an explanation or any assurance it won't happen again, I'm still worried. (If I lose my files in an unrecoverable way on T-bird after this I can't say I wasn't warned...)

I to purchased the lifetime cloud storage offer by ThunderDrive IO about a year ago. I hadn't used it until recent, which brought me to observing many disgruntled customers understandably. My initial user experience with ThunderDrive wasn't good at all. I found it to be definitely a " work in progress" if not a scam. I would upload files, sizes ranging between 100mb - 7GB would sometime finish incomplete or just wouldn't be there at all. I've attempted to contact them on the matters a couple days ago. I've yet to hear back. However, with all that said, after a few experimentations or maybe under the hood maintenances from ThunderDrive's ITs, so far I've managed to find a workflow and uploaded over a 100 gigs of files within 2 days without any of the prior issues. As of writing this, I would say speeds are fairly decent. To upload a 1gb file took me approx 10-11 mins. Downloads for a 1gb file were under a minute. My conclusion, it's definitely not Google Drive, but for the $60 I spent, if they were to maintain the current stability I've experienced over the past day or so, I'll call this cloud service "DOABLE" for the amount I paid.

Stop Complaining!!! Maybe it is not a perfect product but very cheap storage, and file sharing solution. I would love them to come out with the PC APP already!!!! When they come out with the APP ill upgrade the Rating to 4 or even 5 stars.

Thank you, All is working again now. I give you one more star but for the last two stars we need missing Android and windows apps and roadmap of the release of these apps updated I'm afraid that thunderdrive closed definitely the doors. Their website is not working Today. Hope this is only temporary unavailable. Please give me a little hope they still alive.

UPDATE: After a week of trying to get ahold of folks through Thunderdrive, I have finally got a reset on my account (Thank you Ashley). I realize that it was the holidays and this likely contributed to the delay. Also, the initial reset went to my spam and while I attempted to use this link within 24 hours, it expired which also caused issues and added to my frustration. I will now upload my pictures and will further update my review after that and hopefully be able to give Thunderdrive 5 stars. INITIAL REVIEW: I purchased the 2TB lifetime package. I set up my account and last week attempted to go back into my account. I put in my password but it was repeatedly rejected. Since that time, I have requested it be reset 5 times. Only once did I get a link to reset it and that link didn't work. I am so so frustrated. There is no number to call and so we sit and wait to see if someone is going to get back to me. Looks like it was money down the drain.

I bought the lifetime subscription, it is a gamble because at $39.95 US for 2tb it will not be sustainable, I hope that with the seed money they are getting by doing this they can grow the site & compete with the big boys. Time will tell but even if they only last a year I think it is still a good bet

Works well, has some bugs as mentioned by others, but can work through for the price. Biggest bug is that i can not upload files under 5gb but over 1gb. They seem to upload as others have mentioned but then dont show up. Can you please look into my account? I see you have replied to others
