I had never used counseling before using Thriveworks. My first counselor would often go on 10-15 minute tangents about seemingly random things rather than talk through anything with me and I quickly began dreading my sessions. Second counselor failed twice to set up recurring appointments, leaving me at home from work at my computer with no appointment. I then called and asked not to be seen anymore. Since then, I have been charged over $500 for "missing" appointments that were never scheduled and do not show on my appointment dashboard at all. Billing and office are trying to hold me accountable. I wish I never used Thriveworks to begin with

I am an AUTISTIC ADULT and Thriveworks CUT MY SERVICE with SHORT AND VAGUE WARNING! When the Thriveworks third party calls from another country, they talk fast and sternly, only acting like a corporation caring about the money only. They apparently FORGOT or DON'T CARE that they are helping/healing severely depressed and anxious individuals with a multitude of mental health diagnoses and traumas. As an Autistic person with PTSD, MDD, and GAD, I didn't appreciate or feel comfortable with their INDIFFERENT ATTITUDE-style customer service. Way to go Thriveworks! This is a solid way to lose patients AND therapists. Luckily, there is a local 24/7 Suicide Support group in my area that I can contact while waiting to receive my disability retirement payment and begin a re-payment plan at the end of this month. Hopefully, I can resume my weekly CBT therapy sessions sooner rather than later. I have an amazing and highly-skilled therapist who is the main reason I am choosing to stay with Thriveworks. I go wherever my therapist goes.

Have not been able to access my patient portal. Spent 4 hours talking to customer support and billing and they say they have sent the Magic Link that enables me to get into my account. They said they had no IT dept to help me, then someone in billing said they would contact their IT dept and I would get an email if and when they found any problem. Horrible, horrible service. Everyone I talked to was in the Phillipines. This is not the first time I have had problems with Customer Support. They say they have 2 websites for Customer Service. I can't access any info for my account. I love my therapist, but when I am done with therapy I will never use Thriveworks again until they do something about their customer service and billing departments. I have never known a company to have no IT department to handle these kinds of issues. I am sure if Thriveworks does not receive a payment they would be fast to get in contact with me. I do not want Thriveworks to tell me to go to a website that is not working. I want a phone call or e-mail from someone in charge. Cannot every recomment them to anyone if this is the level of service they provide. They have made me go backwards in my recovery due to terrible anxiety.

They charge $135 for cancellation/rescheduling within 48 hrs. However, their therapists cancelled and rescheduled within 48 hrs 3 times. Very disrepectful toward client's time. Definitely not client centric. Bottom line driven.

The therapists my family has worked with have been wonderful. The Thriveworks billing department, however, are pretty awful. We've had frequent issues with them charging incorrect cards despite us asking them to update our payment method. The staff at the billing center are generally pretty unhelpful unless you manage to speak to a supervisor. They sound like they're trying but have very little power to actually solve problems. I think they've got some great therapists, but they need to get the business side sorted out.

I was very unhappy with my experience at thriveworks. I was a grad student when I approached thriveworks for some help regarding my undiagnosed ADHD symptoms. The provided did not acknowledge my concerns and observations of my symptoms and immediately prescribed me anti-anxiety medication despite me expressing that I did not believe my symptoms were just anxiety. I had one visit and was charged over 300 dollars, and they did not even assist me with my concerns. Do not go here.

DO NOT USE THRIVEWORKS. Every review about them being scam artists is correct. I rarely write reviews but I felt this was needed, as I have lost a lot of money because of them and I hope more people become aware of the dangers, financial and otherwise, of starting "therapy" at this institution. Thriveworks' business model is not an honest or helpful one. As someone who has needed therapy since I was a child, it is incredibly disheartening and frustrating to have run into such a predatory way of gaining and maintaining clientele who may need psychiatric services to prevent them from hurting themselves or others. I have been cancelled on by my therapist 7 times in a month and a half "service". I was very unhappy with this, as I need constant psychological help. I requested to cancel any and all upcoming sessions. I was told that I was going to incur a cancellation fee, but fought back as I had cancelled outside of the 48 hour timeline. I was told that no fee would be incurred and that all my sessions would be cancelled. Not half an hour later I received a confirmation that another therapy session had been made a month out, AND that I had been charged $135 for the cancellation fee of my upcoming appointment - again, I had originally cancelled before the 48 hour limit. I still have not received my money back. They will lie and cheat and steal if you let them, even if you're at a point where you're near a mental breakdown. Do not go anywhere near this business.

Thriveworks is the worst ever. They lied about billing between co-pays and deductibles, billed over a month after the fact despite being told zero bill. Got zero help for my son. We were told there was a scheduling issue and never got a call back or a new therapist. Nobody is running this company. It's just a cash cow and my son is sitting here depressed while I look for help elsewhere because thriveworks let my family down.
