I used to be the BIGGEST supporter of thrive themes. I loved their templates and then the theme builder came along and made my dreams come true. UNTIL I allowed my subscription to expire. Make no mistake, if you use the theme builder, you will be REQUIRED to keep your subscription or your website WILL NOT be usable after cancelling. They say that they only take away the updates but they also remove the templates which mean that you can no longer at new items through theme builder. There are no NON PREMIUM items. For example, if you decide to add a new menu, it will simply tell you that you do not have access. So unless you plan to pay for the subscription FOREVER, steer clear of Thrive Themes. I now have to rebuild every website I've built with this service or pay the subscription fee... which they know will keep people paying.

Wow. I have used Thrive Architect for nearly 4 years, and used to love it - up until recently, which seems to coincide with the founder selling Thrive to another company earlier this year. Technical support is now virtually non-existent. I have an e-commerce site that has been out of action now for 4 weeks. Totally unacceptable. I am so, so disappointed. I have no choice but to switch providers and request a refund for the support package, because there is NO SUPPORT package. Would strongly suggest people look elsewhere for a website builder. Perhaps you would care to look at the month worth of email requests to sort the issues I'm experiencing, then get back to me? Search for my name in your support tickets. Happy to edit this review once everything is sorted. 14 August 2023 16:54 Thankfully all has now been fixed. I did try other another provider, but not a patch on Thrive. When Thrive works well, it works brilliantly and so flexible.

I have more than 4 months with the same problem cp Throve Quiz Builder. I always get the same answer: the server. The server checked from their side and they indicate that it is Thrive. I even changed servers, and the same. Bottom line: Thrive support really sucks. They are incompetent and irresponsible. I really need my membership reimbursed for the damage caused. It's sad, because we really liked their products. We had it for 3 years, but it is not worth a product that in the future may have problems and the support does not know or does not want to solve it.

I'm using Architect for many years. Great product. However, support has become extremely slow. Although it's difficult to change horses in the middle of a river, I'm considering switching.

Good product in general - although a lot of the features you elsewhere as well. The problem here is more company politics. If you want to cancel your subscription you have to click >5 times to really end you subscription. I understand that it might improve their revenue numbers, but this is horrible user experience and shows weird company politics.

I had been using Thrive themes for over a year to build my site and landing pages. It was super easy and fast which someone with my tech knowledge needs! Business dried up after the housing market stalled, and during this time my subscription auto-renewed. I was strapped for cash and sent a quick email explaining my situation and asked for a refund if possible. Cherrylet refunded me right away without hesitation. Great customer service even though they didn't need to accommodate my request. Great product and great people!

I've been paying for Thrive for 7 years and while their product line has increased, the amount of bugs and issues has dramatically increased as well. The support has slowly got worse and worse over the years as well. Their first response is always to point and blame something else. Last year we had an important issue with Woocommerce integration, it took me launching the same ticket 3 times before I found someone who would help without pointing blame somewhere else. They have issues with referral software and we can't even use the software we want to use because thrive leads won't connect with it. It's a known bug that has not been looked at in over 12 months. Our most recent issue this week was the API with convertkit just suddenly dropped out. We've now lost 3000-4000 subscribers because we didn't catch it for a couple of days and all of the revenue that comes with that. Not to mention the $10k+ of ad spend it took us to get those people all now flushed down the drain. The worst part for us is that our business is so tied to these plugins now it's going to take a monumental effort to move everything. And now that we've just lost a bunch of revenue it makes it even harder for us to go elsewhere before we get on top of things again. I'm pretty sure the founder has little to do with the company these days and some of the longest team members have left recently. So I get the impression thrive themes is heading in the wrong direction. I don't normally write reviews but felt this was important to share so others can make a more informed decision before beginning and hopefully won't end up like us tied to a declining platform. Fortunately, we are rebranding at the end of the year which means we can build our future site somewhere else.

The best support team in the business!!! I cannot rate Thrive Themes and the support team enough. I had an issue connecting Stripe and Thrive Themes, the support team went far more than the extra mile and I now have a fully working website with more features than most in my industry.
