I wish I never used Thrive themes. I've had them for 5ish years. I hate everything this platform does. They're bloated with plugins no one wants or utilizes. They've doubled their price from when I originally started with them. They haven't updated the layouts of review boxes, pricing structures or blurbs in years. Templates are ugly. They also have a bug company wide currently that is rendering my license with them unusable. Customer service made me make them an admin account in my WordPress which is incredibly dangerous security wise just so they can install a workaround while they wait to public ally release their patch. I will never ever renew my license with them again.

I’ve been a subscriber of thrive for 6 or 7 years. 2 years ago, I stopped my subscription, and I checked carefully the conditions : they promised that I could always access to my website and use it, only losing access to support and new softwares (which was fair). But now suddenly 2 years later everything is blocked in my own website. They ask me to pay 599 dollars yearly to unlock my own content, access or edit any page. What a joke, and what a way to thank someone who spent more 2000 dollars in your products in the past !!! You should avoid this company and their products by any means if you don’t want them to block everything you built during years using their software. They used to be great, now they are the worst (I’m pretty sure that it’s not even legal to retroactively change the rules like this to force people to buy again a product they already decided to quit because they don’t use it much).

Blackmail. Plain and simple. New owners will kill this once great business under Shane. Was and only ever was capped at $249 (event that price point is debateable) After years of loyalty, new owners came in WP. Instantly tried to increase (double) my annual subscription. When challenged made out that they could agree the original $249 but made a heavy point of claiming that if not renewwed on tim it would increase to $599 a year (never EVER was this much) Following year, I tried to renew well ahead of my renewal, and had no choice but to accept their new $599 price point. ABSOLUTE JOKERS. tHERE ARE MUCH BETTER AND MORE ABLE WYSIWYGs available. ELEMENTOR is the best we have found. NEVER will we do business with any products from WP again. Do youself a favour, savfe afortune and prevent yourself being blackmailed by going with Elelmentor. I wouldn't have know it till I left, but there are MUCH MUCH MUCH better builders out there. Ones that include AI Wireframes and at a fraction of their exploitative price point. Shane Malack - please please start up in competition with these jokers. Absolutely the worst experience. You have done away with plugins that worked, to monetise and sell other products your group owns. They weren't needed, stop breaking something that worked well. Sadly its going downhill fast. 4. As stated, you tried to blackmail me two years ago, claiming that as long as I renew before the renewal deadline, the $299 would remain. It didn't. For the second consecutive year you tried to blackmail me over a 'fear of loss.' 5. I don't deal with corrupt management teams. 6. I will never use you or any product your company has developed, from what I hear you act the same with other digital assets. #ELEMENTOR IS CHEAPERR, BETTER AND FRIENDLIER. Been a longtime customer for roughly 7 years or so and they (Thrive Themes) had a problem with processing payments. Got sent a link that did not work from the get go to solve the issue. Got tired of dealing with the support and did not get back to them for some time, but now again tried to get a functioning link so I could get my thrive Suite package deal back as it was before Thrive Themes own issues with their payment processing. It's a hard stop no from them even though they were the cause of the issue in the first place. This company has just gotten worse and worse over the years. No goodwill to long time loyal customers who they cause problems for, support that is many times scattered and slow to reply etc. Go with a better solution for your website, one that is more customer oriented and that does not try and blame the customers for their mistakes. Worthless!

I bought 2019 the Thrive Architect Plugin with a onetime payment and was very happy with it. Beginnning of 2026 the Plugin blocked all my pages which i created with this plugin. They force customers now to buy a yearly plan for 99 $, despite that i use it just sometimes and i dont need new features. Conclusion: They just search a way to press the money out of people.

I just signed up for Thrivetheme and it has crashed my website, thanks ThriveTheme. I now have a critical error and can't access my WordPress dashboard. I went into my Thrivetheme account to deactivate the program and when I clicked on my program in my back office I got taken back to the Thrivetheme home page asking me to buy the product again. The customer service is horrendous I have emailed four times with no reply. I have also had the pleasure of chatting with an AI chatbot calling itself Theme Support Assistant which it is not.

Just another money hungry product aimed at beginners. They refuse to provide support for something that is 100% their fault and only happens with their plug-in after spending approximately $300 with them. Do not recommend. It is easy to use, escpecially for a quick landing page, you can whip one up in less than an hour!. But I'm not paying for their support to fix their broken product. It's always something with this plug-in, I've tried to use it many times since I purchased it in 2020, but they don't care about their customers and would rather lose a web-designer and his customers than fix their broken product.

I was genuinely disappointed with Thriver Suite. For such a high price, I expected reliable, high-quality tools, but every single product in the suite failed to meet my expectations. The software is clunky, slow, and filled with bugs, making it difficult to work efficiently. It felt like they prioritized marketing over delivering a product that actually works well. The features are poorly implemented and don’t justify the cost at all. I also reached out to their support, but the responses were slow and unhelpful. I regret purchasing Thriver Suite – it’s simply not worth the money.
