This theme is cumbersome. While I like the look of my site, this theme slows down everything. I bought it so I could run my courses on my own website, but the payment process is so convoluted, it was unusable. Support is awful. It takes days to get anything resolved. They crashed my site with their changes last week and gave me an error message that I had to pay. I did it didn't solve the issue, which I solved myself the next day. Today they charged me again.
Update: Thrive refunded the duplicate charge with a heartfelt apology.

Website Builder is very unintuitive and lots of bugs:
- view on thrive architect builder and endresult look different
- mobile version of a site always looks different and it is not possible to adjust it so it looks like intended
- toggle items dont open on my website anymore, so I always have to use workarounds.
i have updated, but it is so annoying
Maybe the wordpress platform is screwed. Notion pages work better

Es ist gut, aber …
Tja, nicht einfach die Rezension.
Ich nutze Thrive seit über einem Jahr. Ich hatte vorher DIVI genutzt und bin hierauf umgestiegen. Ich nutze den Baukasten, die Webinar-Funktionen, das Quiz und einiges ziemlich intensiv. Bisher funktioniert das meiste ziemlich gut und stabil, jedoch tauchen immer wieder kleinere Probleme auf. Der Support war bisher ganz gut und hat sich bemüht, man muss aber auch mit etwas Wartezeit rechnen. Auf meine letzte Anfrage habe ich allerdings keine Antwort erhalten, womöglich weil ich direkt auf eine frühere Mail geantwortet habe. Ich hoffe, das wird kein Trend. Ich finde alle Funktionen sind übersichtlich und sinnvoll integriert, ich bin grundsätzlich bisher zufrieden.
Nun komme ich zum großen ABER. Thrive ist viel teuer geworden! Ich bin auch auf deren Werbung reingefallen, die meiner Meinung nach versprochen hat, für ca. 250 im Jahr alles zu bekommen. Damit war aber angeblich nur das erste Jahr gemeint. Die Werbung steh in ähnlicher Form immer noch auf der Website und ich finde das einfach nur daneben. Auf meine Kritik hin hat Thrive nur so eine typische "Entschuldigung für die Unannehmlichkeiten"-Mail geschickt, aber keine Lösung angeboten. 600 € im Jahr sind zu viel, mit Webhosting wäre das villt. ok und wenn man mehrere Webseiten betreut. Für Einzelseiten ist das aber unverschämt teuer. Das sind dann mit allen anderen Kosten die aufkommen (Da Thrive kein Webhosting übernimmt) 70 € pro Monat.
Es lohnt sich also nur, wenn man mehrere Webseiten betreibt. Ansonsten gibt es für Kursaufbau, Landingpages und Co sicherlich günstigere Alternativen oder preislich ähnliche, die dann jedoch kein Wordpress-Know-How und Hosting benötigen. Thrive ist trotz allem eben nur ein Plugin für Wordpress. Und Wordpress ist nicht das stabilste Grundgerüst. Und der Preis ist eigentlich der einer Standalone-Variante.
Ich bleibe vorerst bei Thrive, da ich darin verankert und mit allem vertraut bin und weil es ein solides Rundumpaket ist, sofern man Bock hat, sich in alle anderen Dinge einzuarbeiten. Ich hoffe aber auch, dass Thrive den Support und die Preise anpasst und nicht auf so eine "Hauptsache Geld machen"-Schiene gerät und alles andere darunter leidet.

To get the fastest assistance, feel free to open a new ticket referencing your previous ticket number (#ID). That way, we can easily pull up your history and help you right away.
Regarding pricing: We haven't changed our pricing in over a year, and it's always clearly displayed on our website. The initial Thrive Suite purchases enjoyed a 50% discount, while recurring subscriptions are at the full price (all explained in detail on our pricing page here: https://thrivethemes.com/pricing/).
Just recently, we launched a new pricing page with a fresh look, so there might be some slight visual differences compared to what you saw before. No worries though, the information is all there.

Didn't work out for me.
Unfortunately Thrive Themes didn't work out for me as, even with their help, I was unable to get good page load times.
Thrive offers a lot of functionality and I was disappointed when it didn't work well for me. But they were kind enough to offer to refund my money even though I was past the 30-day refund period.
My suggestion for anyone that thinks Thrive might be the solution they are looking for: test it out. If it isn't a good fit then you can get a refund within 30 days of purchase.

We are sorry to hear you had issues using the Thrive Themes product on your website. We design plugins and templates which can be used in multiple ways. Each person can pick and choose how they wish to use or utilize our products. While some focus on more robust pages, some like it sleek and minimalistic. The amount of content, where it is being called from, and even hosting can impact the loading of the pages.
No product is perfect, and we do try to improve things, but the creation part is entirely yours to envision and create a reality of it.
We have offered our help to directly check your website and see how we can make those pages load, but we haven't gotten a positive on that one. So, at this point, I can only say we're sorry you haven't been able to see all the positives Thrive Products brings to the table.
When it comes to finances, each product has its cost. For some, that cost is adequate or even cheap. For others, it can be very expensive - even unworthy.
In your case, we have provided a refund even though the 30-day refund window has expired.

Thrive themes are generally quite good
Thrive themes are generally quite good, but sometimes their products are frustrating. I was using their Optimize plugin and due to a bug its giving false result. The support is not that helpful.

Technical Support issue
Wow. I have used Thrive Architect for nearly 4 years, and used to love it - up until recently, which seems to coincide with the founder selling Thrive to another company earlier this year. Technical support is now virtually non-existent. I have an e-commerce site that has been out of action now for 4 weeks. Totally unacceptable. I am so, so disappointed. I have no choice but to switch providers and request a refund for the support package, because there is NO SUPPORT package. Would strongly suggest people look elsewhere for a website builder. Sorry, Thrive, that I had to leave this review, but you are out of order.

Thankfully all has now been fixed. I did try other another provider, but not a patch on Thrive. When Thrive works well, it works brilliantly and so flexible.
