ThorneReviews of thorne.com

Pros: CLEAN, reliable product, fun rewards program with cool products, easy to stop/start subscriptions. I've had an account with them for many, many years. Cons: I don't like the fact that they have all the cookies to the site automatically set to "on" so you have to go in and deselect them. Cookies should be an "opt in," NOT "opt out" preference.

I have used Thorne for quite some time. Since the app was disabled the subscriptions have been difficult to manage. I had an issue with an over shipment. The representative was rude from the beginning of the call. I wanted assistance on how to prevent this in the future. She rudely told me she could not see what I clicked or didn’t click on my screen, and said if I didn’t want the product to just return it at my own expense. I didn’t want to return it. I wanted to prevent future confusion. We ended with me telling her to cancel all subscriptions and send me email verification of cancellation. In a very condescending tone she said she would gladly do so. I received the confirmation and began looking for a new supplement company. I went today to look at my shipping status and noticed 2 active subscriptions with future shipping dates. I canceled them and hope they are actually cancelled. I love the product but the customer service has recently declined.

I’ve been a Thorne customer for around 15 years. First interaction with the company directly. Terrible customer service. I bought three bottles of a Thorne supplement from a third-party retailer all of which came looking suspect (capsules looked spoiled). I wrote Thorne about it directly and they asked me to send them receipts and photos. It took me a little bit of time to gather all that up but I did it an emailed them. No response. I followed up numerous times for about a month, but nothing. I then started a second inquiry from scratch and upon asking about the failed first inquiry was told that the help ticket from that first inquiry had likely been closed because I had taken some time to respond. They then asked for the same photos and receipts, which I promptly provided this time. Been over a week now and zero response. Wrote to them to follow up. Nothing. Sad to see a company with what seems to be very good products squandering their reputation like this simply because they can’t figure out how to answer messages in a timely way. Possibly will never order from them again after about 15 years of buying their product.

Thor never answers the telephone they put you on hold forever. Using their chat bot does not resolve the problem because the chat bot always replies that they will transfer you to an agent that can help you and no agent responds. Also when you send them an email, they misinterpret your question and sent you a response that makes no sense. I believe they are dragging their feet so that that you are out of timeframe and cannot get your credit card refund in a timely manner.

It was really good last year. The shipment was efficient, and I spent hundreds of dollars on the site. But this year, the shipments do not arrive. The AI customer service does not help. No one picks up the phone. The official website gets stuck in a loop when trying to log in. Can’t even cancel the subscription. It feels so scammy. What happened?

I'm sorry I ever got involved with Thorne. I tried to cancel my subscription from their website, as instructed. No where is there a spot to cancel. Then I called their customer service number and all I got was a computer that wouldn't let me talk to a real person. Finally, I called my credit card and got to talk to a human. I put a block on all future charges.

Highest quality brand. Had multiple subscriptions. Tried to talk to someone. Was told I was being transferred via a freaking AI chat bot. Waited an hour. Nothing. Canceled scripts. Paying a company monthly for multiple purchases and cant even speak someone is a shit company.

My first month with Thorne was decent. I actually liked their products. However, I had several items on AutoShip and my second order never came despite it saying it was in transit for several weeks. I reached out to the company via chat on their website via email and even called and received no communication and no assistance. It wasn’t until I filed a fraudulent charge claim with my credit card company that I finally got a response via email from Thorne. Once they found out my bank was involved. I got an email with the message “Our records indicate that you filed a chargeback with your credit card company. You order have been refunded, and your account have been blocked.” I’m so disappointed with this company and will never buy from them again. The products cost way too much to not have been received and for the customer service to be this horrible.
