I want to start off by saying do what you wish but this company isn’t saving you anything. I like an idiot signed up for this when I moved. I paid my bill monthly thinking nothing of it as it was pretty reasonable of a rate. I have a nest thermostat and it keeps my bill pretty low so I thought nothing of it until I actually looked at my bill. I was being charged twice the amount of my service and here it was because half was going to think energy. So I looked at a few bills and sure thing I was paying twice the amount of my service each month. So I called and cancelled it and sure enough as I am typing this review my bill dropped back to save me even more money. When I called to ask what service I was paying for the guy couldn’t even tell me. He just said we can cancel it if you would like. I legitimately wants to know why I was paying for it if I didn’t need it. Now I will be filing a lawsuit against them because I hate that they have been screwing over millions of people. Dishonest doesn’t even begin to describe this company, I see all their relpies but they are not even able to explain their service to me. Stay away from them. I can post my bills for anyone who would like to see proof. Save your money!

I live in New England, and my supplier is National Grid. My house is total electric so my bills, especially in Winter were very high. When National Grid went from .16 cents per KWH to .26 per KWH, I had no choice and changed. I went with Gulf Energy, and had no problem. After i year, Gulf no longer supplied residential service, and Think Energy picked up their customers. The switch over was simple with no problems, and my rate was .095 cents per KWH. Last year my rate actually came down to .093 cents per KWH. Early in November of this year 2017, I received a notice that my rate was going to increase to .125 cents per KWH. That's a .032 cents per KWH increase. I looked for other providers and after talking with one of them that was offering a fixed rate of .119 cents per KWH for 36 months sounded great until the person I was talking too tried to pressure me into signing up right away, and giving me all kinds of BS. I do not like the increase by Think Energy, but compared to what my default supplier (National Grid) charged me, Think Energy is the best, until they do me wrong.

I just want to warn people about a very aggressive, misleading salespitch that I experienced. A "sales rep" came to my door and asked to see my energy bill because he was my new supplier of energy. I saw his purple shirt said "Think Energy" but his ID tag was not visible. I stated, "no thanks". He threatened me that I was going to have no energy supplier in 2 weeks. I asked him for his name and phone number. He gave me his name and his cellphone number. Does he think because i am a woman i do not know my rights? I am allowed to CHOOSE MY OWN ENERGY SUPPLIER!!!!! He would not take no for an answer and was rude. Beware!

What a crap company!Send out door to door people to bait you.Then 6 months in double the charge!Ih I See “your Sorry want to make it up”.Another stinking load of crap.I just talked with customer “service “they don’t want to make anything right!Not only that but I canceled service and guess what I’m screwed another whole month!Probaly the rate will be even higher!There goes my kids Christmas presents!DO NOT FALL for it!Horrible,horrible,horrible!!DO NOT USE THEM

Terrible sales pitch. Pretended to be sent out by the state, and wanted to switch me based on the guise that I had been 'recently overcharged'. Didn't ask me to sign up for anything, just went ahead trying to sign me up. Falsely tried to tell the electric supplier I was the husband of who was on the bill.

Totally disappointed with the company behavior. I signed up with this company in April 2016 with the rate of 6.3 cents when I moved to the area. I didn't realize Think Energy charges 9.1 after one year, which is about 50% jump in price. I paid all my bills automatically and electronically with my credit cards, so didn't pay attention to the details, which I really should have with the company like Think Energy. I just looked around other companies rates, I could rarely find any company is charging 9.1 cents now. Even more odd, the company didn't notify me for 50% price jump after April 2017, until yesterday (10/20/2017) by calling me and emailing me, even saying the mailing notice they just sent on October 10, 2017 got returned. What is ironic is the company started notifying me after they had been charging me 6 months at 50% higher rate. They have my email, phone number and service address, through which Think Energy could have informed me timely of 50% of rate jump. Instead the company choose to wait for such a long time, and then sent a mailing notice which went to my older address instead of my current address where they are serving. I called, asking why they didn't inform me timely for the rate hike for such a long time, requested refund for unauthorized charging of higher rate for 6 months, the conversation went nowhere.

Salesperson who came to door kept insisting that I show my bill for electric and gas because "there were complaints from people that they were being charged too much" I asked if he was with the gas oe electric company and ge said no, but couldnt say who sent him. Its a scam to get you to switch providers. I told him I had alreafy switched to a different supplier recently, and didnt want to change. He then said someone would come to my door everyday until I wad crossed off the list. This is harassment. I am calling the borough office, police, and tv news tomorrow.

Man rang bell and pounded on the door. When I told him I wasn't interested he told me he wasn't one of "those guys" but had been sent by the state to make sure we were aware of our rights. I again told him I wasn't interested but he continued to try his sales pitch on me.
