I bought a cabinet from this outfit, and the color wasn't even close to what the website showed. The color on their website was natural oak, what I got was gray, not natural oak but gray, it wasn't even close. When I reached out to them part of their reply. "Please note that color can sometimes vary due to differences in lighting and screen settings" This is what the website describes "Midtown Rift Oak Shaker 27" Base Cabinet" but the box says "Galaxy Desert Oak," and they told me they are the same thing. I was told I can't return it, but I can refinish any color I like. So, I paid $650 for the cabinet and $299 for shipping and didn't get what was shown on their website and now get to refinish it. Dont buy from this company, you won't get what you pay for.

We completely understand your frustration, and I’m truly sorry that the color wasn’t what you expected.
Unfortunately, because the cabinets are pre-assembled and match the item you ordered, we’re unable to accept a return or offer a refund. This policy is in place due to the nature of pre-assembled cabinetry and is noted at the time of purchase. Additionally, our manufacturers have policies that require us to have a different name on our site than their names. The Midtown Rift Oak on our site is their Galaxy Desert Oak. We send this in the tracking email to ensure our customers are aware of the difference in name (alone).
We do sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. We always highly recommend purchasing a sample first to help prevent situations like this, as we know how important it is for the color and finish to be just right for your space.

Avoid this company at all costs!
We ordered cabinets from RTA Cabinets on August 7. As of August 26, we still do not have them. Our project has now been delayed, directly impacting our business and livelihood, despite paying $300 in shipping for what should have been a straightforward delivery.
RTA’s chosen freight company, TForce, has been unresponsive and dishonest from the start. Calls to the warehouse went unanswered for days, even TForce’s own customer service couldn’t reach their warehouse during business hours, and when we finally got through, an employee admitted they were intentionally not returning calls to customers because they were too backed up. Our shipment sat in their terminal for nearly a week with no confirmed delivery window. On top of that, TForce falsely reported to RTA that we had declined a delivery appointment and requested dock pickup which is something we never said. We clearly stated in writing: if Friday wasn’t possible, delivery needed to occur on Monday, August 25.
Our RTA account advisor, Cynthia M., was polite but unable to resolve anything. To make matters worse, Brenda C., the Senior Manager of Shipping, initially tried to place blame on us by claiming we had requested a warehouse pickup and then changed our minds to residential delivery, which was completely false. On Monday 8/25 at 12:18 PM, Brenda told us our order was “confirmed to be on the truck” and scheduled for delivery Tuesday 8/26 between 10 AM–5 PM. The next morning at 8:47 AM, she wrote that TForce was “loading the truck” and that she had requested priority placement. By 10:17 AM, she emailed again with a “confirmed” delivery window of 1–3 PM, promising the driver would call one hour before. At 1:34 PM, when nothing had arrived, we followed up. Fifteen minutes later, Brenda told us the order had been “misplaced,” only to later claim it had been “found” and now “guaranteed” for delivery the next morning, Wednesday 8/27 between 9–10 AM.
But here’s the truth: when we went to the terminal ourselves to pick up the order, the dock worker told us matter-of-factly: “Oh, that wasn’t going out until Friday. Glad you’re able to pick it up today.” This means every single update from RTA’s Senior Manager of Shipping, “on the truck,” “being loaded,” “confirmed for 1–3,” “misplaced but found, guaranteed tomorrow” was a complete lie. It is one thing to deal with freight delays. It is another thing entirely to be blatantly misled by the very company you paid. The lack of transparency, accountability, and professionalism is staggering. It is frightening that a manager would lie so freely, over and over, with no regard for accountability or professionalism.
RTA has now offered a 25% discount, but no amount of credit makes up for the wasted time, the dishonesty, and the damage to our schedule and reputation with our client.
This has been the most unprofessional supplier and shipping experience we have ever had. We will never contract with RTA again, and as active members of national and local remodeling associations, we will be sharing this experience widely.
Avoid this company. What you think you save in cost will ultimately cost you far more in delays, wasted time, and outright lies.

We’re truly sorry for the frustration you experienced with your delivery. We know how important clear and honest updates are, and we regret that the information you received caused confusion and disappointment.
While we do rely on third-party freight carriers to complete deliveries, we take full responsibility for selecting TForce for your shipment and for the inconvenience this caused you. Please know that our Shipping Team was relaying updates as they were reported to us by the carrier, and it was never our intention to mislead or misrepresent the status of your order.
As a resolution, we offered either an additional discount if the carrier delivered on August 27 as promised, or, if they did not follow through, a full refund or a complete replacement order shipped with a different carrier. We’re glad to hear you were ultimately able to pick up your shipment. The agreed upon refund has been processed. Please allow up to 3 business days for it to post to your original payment method. If there is anything further we can do, don’t hesitate to contact us directly.
Although this situation was highly unusual, we are addressing it internally with our freight broker to help prevent issues like this in the future. This is not representative of how our deliveries typically go, and we take full responsibility for the impact it had on you. If you ever consider giving us another opportunity in the future, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team directly. We will ensure your order is not shipped via TForce through this same local terminal.

This company has the worst customer…
This company has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. We purchased 22 cabinets and a ton of trim/fill pieces. We received 5 cabinets. We’ve been given the total run around for weeks about a re-shipment of everything that’s missing. Today I was told my cabinets were at the local hub and to call to set up delivery. The phone number I was given was out of service. We’ve e-mailed and called over and over and get no communication. Thousands of dollars down the drain and an entire project at a complete standstill. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

Do not be misled by quick ship…
Do not be misled by quick ship cabinets. They say 3-7 business days, but after you place your order and pay, they do not allocate the items in your warehouse to your order. Instead, they wait a few days and then tell you half of your order is out of stock. But by that point, it is too late to start from scratch with another seller. It is an absolute bait and switch.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly sorry for the frustration and inconvenience this caused.
While we do our best to keep our Quick Ship inventory updated, availability can change rapidly due to demand, and we understand how frustrating it is to learn about backorders after placing an order. We work closely with our manufacturing partners to fulfill orders as quickly and accurately as possible, and we always aim to notify customers of any stock issues as soon as we become aware of them.
We understand how disruptive this experience was—especially with the tight timelines that often come with kitchen projects—and we hope our team was able to assist with a resolution. If there’s anything further we can do, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Poor quality cabinets with almost no…
Poor quality cabinets with almost no assembly instructions. Finish on sample was outstanding. Finish on actual cabinets spotty at best. Some doors warped, frame finish very poor. Cheap screws, poorly aligned predrilled holes, wrong sized screws... No possible way to return them. Better off going to the big box store. Fine for flipping, but if you're gonna live with them get real cabinets.
Junk cabinets made with decent materials.

Buyer Beware
I am a contractor and have assembled/installed numerous kitchens using cabinets from other companies. I chose RTA Store because of the “Designer” aspect, however she was more interested in “up-selling” me items than designing a proper kitchen. The CAD printouts are impossible to read, and when I questioned the measurements she assured me all was well—it wasn’t. several cabinets covered the windows, the sink base was not centered under the window, and I received numerous unnecessary trim pieces.
I found solutions to the problems by revising the layout, however I needed another cabinet to fix the misalignment at the sink/window (the sink base was 3” off center). I didn’t ask for an exchange, just a replacement. They refused to rush-ship the replacement cabinet, stating I have to wait 15 days to receive it.
As stated in previous reviews, Customer Service blames the consumer for not being able to read their blurry/ over-written CAD printout, and making excuses for their designer “Too bad, it’s your fault. Sorry."
This company is not geared toward consumers, but toward up-selling and pressure tactics. Buyer Beware.

Stay away from RTA, they always blame the consumer
I ordered some cabinets. The drawings looked wonderful and reviewed them to the best of my ability, not being a construction worker. The cabinets were delivered and not the quality I expected but acceptable. There was one sheet in each box on assembly. Once assembly was complete, I found out that 2 critical pieces to make the cabinets look correct were not included. I contacted RTA and they placed all blame on me, the consumer. I should have understood those pieces were not included if I read the fine print and they do not accept returns if the pieces have been assembled. The individual who completed the drawings let me know that if I didn't like the product, I had the chance in review to not accept these. They place all the blame on the consumer and take no blame themselves.
I recommend you stay away from this company if you are not in the construction business. We were planning on ordering many more cabinets for our remodel but are going a different direction at this time.

Disappointed
The only reason I ordered these items from RTA is because I had ordered my whole kitchen from them previously ($9000.00). I ordered more items to match and had to pay $299.00 in shipping cost for 4 items!!! Won't make that mistake again.
