The facility in Indianapolis is a top of line place w amazing staff. The CEO is involved daily in every aspect and not behind the curtains what so ever. The medical staff is so helpful w whatever needs your experiencing and led by very educated individuals. The BHTs ladies and few men have a very demanding job and they all fulfill it to best of their ability no matter what. My only complaint is their leader and I forget his name , probably because he never took the time to stop to introduce himself. However he did take the time to condensed me and belittle me on what I was saying , the whole time his back to me as I am chasing him trying to speak. I don't know how he earned the position he's currently in but I would reevaluate in my opinion. Janet,the case manager, is very good at her high demanding job and goes above her requirements also.

They employed a sexual predator and violated my HIPPA. Nothing worse than having someone violate your mental health privacy while trying to survive a major depressive episode. The persons who violated my HIPPA were my private counselor and her fiancée that both work there. Tannin you disgusting predator I hope you're in jail where you belong. They also stole my stuff, refused to return mail to me that arrived after I ran out of there and got help at a facility that isn't about the money. I'm afraid even after calling corporate that I'm still going to have to pursue legal action. Stay away from Recovery Village Kansas City. Also, every single time I've tried to get their corporate number to lodge a complaint I have been hung up on by the people who are supposed to be compassionate advisors. Unless you have a drug addiction stay away. Their SUDs program worked well for a family member.

Rachel the therapist is the WORST! if you have her, get a different one IMMEDIATELY because they wont allow you to change therapists after awhile. I wanted to go to a different place. why? because there were a LOT of clients sneaking in drugs and alcohol. we even had a meeting about it. so i told her that im leaving. what did she do? she waited until i left the room and told my parents that im quitting on being sober! what! the next thing i know, my mom called CRYING asking me why i was quitting?! WOW are you serious? so i had to explain to them why i wanted to go to a different place, not QUIT. btw im still sober til this day, thank you very much. Also, her "therapy skills" is to just ask "why?" why? why? one time i remember she thought she was being smart and interrupted group to ask someone why why why and a fight broke out. the other counselors had just calmed the situation. shes full of herself. she literally told us a story of how racist she is and how full of herself she is. and she definitely gives off the impression that shes better than you because she isnt a drug addict. literally WORST therapist ever. shes also friends with the boss, like best friends apparently which is why she never gets in trouble.

This is the worst place I've been I'm going to relapse they wake us up and torcher us with fire drills 2 to 7 times a week IV gotten raped malest and all kinda wrongs I want to press charges because of how much they have stretched my bottom half please don't come to this place for recovery I thought I might have some help but I would rather spend for ever in prison or dead than to spend any more of my time here

(wish I could leave zero stars) This place is THE WORST! When it comes to communication, understand that once your loved one has been admitted, speaking with them, getting ANYONE to pickup the phone or return messages, is IMPOSSIBLE! I believe that the lack of access to my sister led to her release AMA (against medical advice) and now being unmedicated and apparently living with another addict/mental patient. There was an ROI (release of information) on file for me, however no one would ever return my messages. Trying to find good care for a loved one in crisis is difficult. Don't make the mistake that I made!! They will happily take your money and leave you with nothing in return!!

I was a patient at Recovery Village in Indianapolis until July 20, 2024. Overall, my experience at this facility exceeded my expectations in many areas. The staff were generally attentive, the facilities were well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was conducive to recovery. However, I encountered a significant issue that impacted my overall satisfaction. I sought help specifically for a chemical dependency problem and had no issues with other areas of my treatment. Despite my clear communication regarding my needs, the doctors and nurse practitioners decided to intervene in areas I had not requested assistance with. Particularly troubling was their decision to remove a medication that I had been taking for nearly 20 years as a PRN (as-needed) treatment for anxiety attacks. I made it clear that I did not want to change this aspect of my treatment, as it was not the reason for my visit. Despite this, they placed me back into a detox program for this medication, which I found unnecessary and counterproductive, especially since I was not using it when I arrived and explained that I would continue to use this medication when I left the facility if I needed it for anxiety. In the end, I chose to leave the program because my primary concern was not being addressed, and I felt that my input and history with my medication were not being respected. While Recovery Village has many strengths, I hope they can improve their approach to individualized care and respect patients' specific requests and histories in the future.

Well first I'm calling trying to get help or resources for help only to get disconnected several times before talking with someone .. finally get a hold of someone an dude is saying 900 a day for help which Is way more I even spend in a week on the drugs I'm trying to get off of .. then he hang up on me when trying to ask a question about the number he just gave me... How do people expect addicts to get sober when the help provided is so expensive or the people helping have never experienced their own demons with drugs before themselves... You can't get the help you need to get off drugs these days... People are trying to get clean an live a better life but society an the government makes it hard an to expensive to get it done

Advertises you can inquire about ur loved one w/immediate response - Nothing is further from the truth; voicemails never returned bcuz they don’t monitor messages, they refuse to answer a ringing phone. Administration says ‘they r not on site,’ lol, but they really are, it’s simply an excuse to get u off their back. They try to pacify moms w/a bunch of phone numbers that they themselves know do not get answered. I was so worried, I had complete ROI from my daughter, her nurse Jason spoke to me 1X in 6 days 😢. I guess the staff are just sick & tired of Addicts and can’t get jobs elsewhere, the pay must be minimum wage. Policy changed between the time I was told to send patients belongings to only pkgs from Retail stores are accepted. This place is a total cluster . Now I am told my daughter’s (patient) belongings that had arrived and never given to her will not be returned home, wow, wow, wow! This facility is as unstable as our addicted loved ones. My daughter went straight to ER after having to leave this facility.
